‘Best weather of the entire week’: Local meteorologist puzzled by Obama speech move
The Daily Caller ^ | 9/5/12 | Alex Pappas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The chief meteorologist at a Charlotte television station is questioning the decision by Democrats to move President Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention to a smaller venue because of the weather.

“Thursday night will likely be the best weather of the entire week,” Brad Panovich of WCNC-NBC TV wrote on Twitter in reference to when Obama’s speech was planned to take place at the outside Bank of America stadium, which can accommodate 70,000 people.

The Democratic National Committee on Wednesday announced that the weather is forcing them to relocate Obama’s speech to the Time Warner Cable Arena, which is inside and holds a far fewer 22,000 people.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday morning after the news broke, Panovich said there’s only a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain or storms and argued that “if you are going to move inside for this small risk you could have done that days ago.”

Said Panovich: “My main point is if you were going to move inside for the small [weather] threat Thursday [,you] could have made that decision a week ago.”

Republicans reacted to the news asking whether the change is really because the Democrats are worried about filling enough seats in the outdoor venue for the video cameras.

“Problems filling the seats?” Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski told reporters in a Wednesday email.

Katie Couric will soon tell Americans to believe it, AND THEY WILL believe it.

09/05/2012 09:00 Charolette

The National Wheather Service is issuing this important Wheather Advisery.  Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

- - - - -

Gail force hot air has formed a topical depression over Charolette, North Carolina.  At this point in time, forcast models are predicting pockets of escaping stagnant back room air broken up by swirling masses of bitter angst.

By Thursday evening local time, Charolette can expect a considerable amount of moisture on the foreheads of officials at the Democrat National Convention.  Expected appearances by Leftist players throughout the region have vaporized.  Attendence at Bank of America Stadium could be deep under water by Thursday evening.

The National Wheather Service is now issuing an Inclement Wheather Warning.  Plans for one outdoor event should be canceled immediately.  Failing to do so could result in a flood of embarrassment.

Any busing plans to or from BofA Stadium should be re-evaluated.

Most Democrats should remain in their homes and wait for further alerts, unless directed to do otherwise.

President Obama has declared BofA Stadium a disaster area, and has made funds available to compensate owners who were monetarily damaged.

The Presidential Press Secretary has made public this press release:  In excess of 55 hours before Tropical Depression Obama was to strike Bank of America Stadium in Charolette, we have activated our national disaster plan.  Plans for Bank of America Stadium have been cancelled.  Democrats who had tickets, and are thus victimized, are being urged to go to Warner Cable Arena, for temporary housing. A limited number of empty chairs are still available.  Those who can't make it to the stadium, should remain in their homes, and think about how they can bail water for the best president our nation has ever had.

More information will be released as this administraton's needs warrant.

Obama’s ego thought he could fill the outdoor venue, so now he can blame Mother nature, for the lack of support.
This is another blame game episode for Obama the Clown.

It’s not as if they Republicans filled every seat at their convention. I did actually see one empty seat.

“Problems filling the seats?”

Yep. They even tried busing them in from all over, but still couldn't get enough.

Last night, my daughter commented on all the empty seats at the convention, and she wasn't even paying attention. She just happened to look up at the TV for a second.

They can`t fill the stadium?...30 % chance of rain coincides with his chance of winning.

I hope that Thursday evening is a beautiful summer evening in Charlotte.

I hope so, too. I'll all for unremitting downpours on the Democrats, but our grass is getting so deep I'm worried it's going to grow in the windows and strangle us in our beds.

I hope it is a bright and sunny day and a clear sky with the moon shinning bright. And, I hope the media outlets all have the nerve to point it out and show it.

“It’s not our fault!”

Somehow, it's got to be Bush's fault.
Maybe the TEA party will be held responsible.
Maybe it's just racism.
Maybe they just didn't spend enough of everyone elses money.
It's a war on women in the audience. They canceled their abortions for this!
Nature is homophobic, and needs to be defeated in November.
