CBS Local ^

The White House says that the August jobs report shows that the nation is continuing to recover, despite more Americans giving up their job search.

Alan Krueger, chairman for the White House Council of Economic Advisers, writes in The White House Blog that it is “important to not read too much into” just one monthly jobs report.

My exact first thought. Hey buddy, what about the last 48 months of jobs reports? If you say so, then how about we look at of them stacked up! Sheesh.

“important to not read too much into” just one monthly jobs report.

As opposed to "we are concerned about our nations job recovery and take every report seriously"?

Does anyone believe anything Obamas white house says about jobs, employment, economics, people, America, data, or anything?

Nope!

“important to not read too much into”

Tranlation: "Don't look to closely at the actual numbers or you might notice that another 368,000 just walked away from bothering to look for a job."

Charlie Manson reportedly announces that people shouldn’t read too much into the death of the folks he directed to be murdered. Says they were going to die eventually anyway.

Here lies the problem with all of this. Obama and the dems know they are going down big in November. The Debates are going to be one sided like you have never seen. Obama will get the usual soft ball questions and Mitt will be lambasted. We are seeing the set up of Obama stealing the Election and if not getting it, he is going to have his people do all in their power to riot, maime and kill so that the other side,(us) fight back. Then guess what he will come on national tv and “for the good of the country a state of Martial law will be instituted as of 2000 Eastern Standard time. Until this crisis is over Mr Romney will not be inagurated President. We hope the crisis will be over quick”. Oh ok my imagination works in mysterious ways.

There isn't any way to spin this one; I looked, I studied, I read it twice, three, four times.

Facts are what they are, and the facts are that this report sucks:

Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 96,000 in August, and the unemployment rate edged down to 8.1 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment increased in food services and drinking places, in professional and technical services, and in health care.
Uh huh.

The reason the unemployment rate "edged down" is that 1.483 million people gave up and exited the workforce! The Department of Labor Lies doesn't count anyone who gives up any longer, so the "unemployment rate" is claimed to have decreased.

But what's worse is that there were a net 868,000 fewer people with jobs in August over July, despite there being 212,000 more people of working age in the population. That's right -- net-on-net over one million fewer people (adjusted for population change) were working last month.

If you were wondering why President Obama looked like an elephant had rammed him last night while he was on the podium and his usual "nose in the air" attitude was a bit more-subdued than usual, this is probably the reason.

Here's the charts.

***

Oh, incidentally, this is a furhter confirmatory indicator that all the regional Fed surveys I've been talking about for three months are right -- and we're in a new "official" recession despite blowing $5 trillion in new federal borrowing trying to hide it.

It’s not important to read too much into 48 consecutive monthly job reports. If it gets to 53 and Mitt Romney is President, that’ll be when it’s important.

Just as it isn’t “important” to “read too much into” Gallup and NBC’s weekly election polls. They don’t mean anything. There’s a whole lot of number manipulation goin’ on out dare right now. It’s all bull**** trying to persuade the freeloading retards to re-elect the Kenyan.

Have a little Freep Fun. If you go to the link; look on right side for the “Did the political conventions influence your vote for November's election?” Freep the poll.

Maybe its Freeped already; look at its numbers; and this is a CBS/AP Washington DC article:

Did the political conventions influence your vote for November's election?
