Akin Advisor Slams The GOP: ‘There Will Be A Revolution In The Republican Party’

Rick Tyler, former advisor to Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign and current advisor to Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin, appeared on MSNBC on Tuesday where he slammed the GOP for turning their back on his candidate. Tyler said that the Republican party would only have themselves to blame and warned of a “revolution in the Republican party” if Akin loses to Missouri’s Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill.

MSNBC host Alex Wagner said that, in her previous discussions with Tyler, she said that he had chosen an uphill battle by joining Gingrich’s campaign. She said that he appeared to have doubled down on his support for underdog candidates with his support for Akin who she said is viewed as a “villain” by some in the Republican party.

Wagner asked if the Republican party would engage in some introspection following the loss of Mitt Romney and Todd Akin about the tone of their politics and the candidates the party nominates for office.

Tyler replied that, if Obama wins and the GOP fails to retake the Senate, “I think that this Republican party will have to completely, utterly and totally revamp its thinking, its strategy, what it stands for, how it trains, what it speaks about, how it recruits and the total abandonment – actually the professionalization of the party – and the abandonment of the grassroots.”

“If we lose the race, we only have ourselves to blame and I think there will be a revolution in the Republican party,” Tyler concluded.

Akin is an idiot. His problems are as a result of his own stupid comments. We are going to lose this seat because this bonehead wouldn’t step aside. There are plenty of good pro-life candidates that could have taken his place. Akin remains in the race because of his own ego. Politics is like any pro-sport in this regard - if you become a liability for the team ya get benched or fired. Doesn’t matter what you did in the past, it only matters what you bring to the team going forward.

IF OBAMA WINS BUT WE WIN BOTH HOUSES.....we will employ the nuclear option in the senate and get rid of filibusters. Then odumbi will be forced to veto everything. And in 2016 we get a Real Conservative.

Missouri Farm Bureau maintains endorsement of Akin for Senate despite remarks about rape

By Associated Press, Published: September 11

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri Farm Bureau provided a boost for Senate candidate Todd Akin on Tuesday by reaffirming its endorsement of the Republican congressman despite his remarks about women’s bodies being able to avert pregnancy in cases of “legitimate rape.”

The Farm Bureau’s support is important for Akin because its membership spans every county in the state. Akin could have lost access to that rural network had the Farm Bureau rescinded its endorsement and taken a neutral stance in the Missouri Senate race......

An Akin spokesman said the six-term congressman from suburban St. Louis was “very encouraged” and “very appreciative” that the Farm Bureau reaffirmed its support. The Farm Bureau president called Akin on Tuesday to personally share the news.

If Romney loses bet the house payment it will be hung on the necks of the conservatives aka tea party. Liberals never accept responsibility for anything, why should “republican liberals” be any different?

Look at the way they trashed Palin and she is the only reason McStain got most of the votes he did as I knew many-many conservatives who had already said to hell with that back stabbing bastard McStain until Palin came on board the ticket.

A mass exodus with major names in congress, governors and mayors will have to coordinate and exodus en-mass. They should immediately convene a national convention for a conservative parties formation and run candidates at federal, state and local levels in 50 states. It will be tough, hard slog but America and freedom are worth it.

And if any “republican” apparatchik aka Rove, McConnell, Boehner, Cantor shows at the convention literally, physically run them out of the building. For all the years, time and money they have done nothing, I say be gone you parasite just like the liberal democrats!
