Political reporters on Twitter are saying they are standing by for a Romney media availability on the video released today by Mother Jones of Romney at a May fundraiser speaking frankly of his thoughts on Obama's base voters and their entitlement mentality, aka the 47% who pay no federal income taxes.
The media and GOP-E have jumped ugly on Romney tonight.

i am watching it right now- the reporter on the NYC station is talking about the reporting on the Libya story stinks and of a cover-up by the obama administration as well as complicity by the media...this is incredible...he’s demanding the media get to the bottom of it...

I read the transcript of the "first" video they released, and I didn't read anything shocking.
They are promising to release more in the coming days(drip, drip, drip).
It is designed to get Romney on the defensive,and I for one am not going to be wringing my hands over this.

Good lord, he speaks the truth and the left is wetting their panties in excitement thinking Romney hurt his campaign. This is a clear view of how warped the left is that they think the truth is harmful.

I thought he did very well. I was very pleased he stood his ground. Romney looks and acts very serious and presidential. There is no comparison between Romney and the coke snorter squatting in the WH. NONE.
The key here is not to focus on the exact percentage. He was making a point that Obama can attract those who choose to be dependent he wasn’t talking exactly about the percent that will vote for him.
Obviously with economic growth some of the 47% can get off dependency and, God forbid, even pay some taxes.
if you stop watching CNN, then they will have less than 10 viewers.
American people need to know that 47% are not paying their ‘fair share’........GOOD JOB, MITT
That is EXACTLY what I said. This one event will decide (well, point to) the fate of this country. If Romney loses because of this, the country is DONE. We have turned the corner into the abyss. If he wins after this event, we may yet have a shot at making this little American experiment work in the way the Founders intended.

An individual could earn $19,000 in 2011 and pay NO federal income tax. It starts at $19,001 filing individual.
Same thing happened to me. A Mexican couple in front of me at the grocery store had their cart loaded with junk food. All I could think of was “I’m going to be pissed if they pay with an EBT card!” Sure enough, the whole bill was almost $200.00. Paid $120 with EBT and the rest with their ATM card!!
And BTW - the couple had their 5 kids with them!! All probably on welfare.

just don’t pay attention to the media thy are ALL in the tank for Obama..it’s unbelievable watching what the media has become..nothing but buttlickers foe Obama..I am so glad that Romney said tis because it needs to be said..there are too many people in this country who don’t want to work..who want govt to send them welfare checks and food stamps in mail..just like Sarah Palin said last week, either we want to live in freedom or just get free stuff..if Romney loses based on this one statement(and guess what..those 47 percent we’re not going to vote for Romney anyway) than this country is finished anyway..it will become Greece and that will be it so it will be interesting to see after all of these months what this country is all about..freedom or socialism
