Brian Williams showed a snippet and asked Chuck Todd to comment on what he heard. Chuck likened it to Obama’s comment about people clinging to their guns and religion and how it hurt the President and still haunts him to this day. Really? Haven’t heard it for four years now. Chuck asked is it something the candidate truly believes or is it said for the benefit of the audience. To say 47% don’t pay taxes will grow legs and hurt him. Williams added it’s the eye of the beholder issue and people will make of what what they wish” and then proceeded to tell the audience how the Romney camp is in disarray.
The “bitter clingers” comment was brought up on the Greta panel, too...it was pointed out that Hillary used that against Barry in the primaries.
