Agreed. I don't see where the clip was such a big deal. I believe most taxpayers (if not all by now) whole heartily agree with him.
The government troth IS a big problem. Social programs and other tax payer paid freebies are out of control and unsustainable. Let's talk about it!

Not really. It’s true that 47% pay no net income tax, and that 47% or more are in the bag for Obama. But they aren’t the same 47%. Plenty if the hated rich vote Democrat. Take Hollywood (please), the most obvious example.
Also, people who pay no income tax are not the only tax eaters. We pretend otherwise but government employees pay no taxes, though a roundabout accounting system has them in the income tax paying block. We all know who and what they vote for (Democrats and higher taxes). Plenty of rich and middle class folk in the nominally private sector are ostensibly tax eaters, depending on how their bread is buttered.
However, all this requires more thought than you can expect from a Romney. It’s enough that he’s right about dependency and right about the specter of the near-50% figure. He’s also right about hopeless Obama voters. He’s just not right about it all at once.
I did say it was an “over simplification” .... Hollyweird is a great example.
I can’t understand one group.... the Jews.... this administration, as well as the Clintons are completely insensitive to Israel so with Hollywood and the media elite being dominated by Jews, I can’t figure out why they aren’t ripping into this administration.... instead, they abjectly serve this administration at Israel’s peril.
The Jews need to wake up and realize who their true friends are.

Credible sources inform me the Jews are a naturally conservative people, and I see it in their larger culture. Perhaps the last few generations have merely been an aberration, caused by I don’t know what. The immigrant experience followed closely by the holocaust and a tragic misassociation of Hitler with the political right, an overidentification with the civil rights movement, the red diaper baby phenomenon, a sudden explosion into the professional and intellectual class when they so happened to be hopelessly leftist, etc. I don’t know what else.
Those are all general answers, though. More specifically I think the supposed current snubbing of Isreal is overblown. So also is the supposed gulf between Democrats and Republicans on the war on terror and Iran. Obama has been virtually identical to Bush foreign policywise, except he only maintained or expanded wars instead of starting them.
You need not agree with Netanyahu to Support Isreal. It’s not there that Jews confuse me. They could be Ron Paul isolationists, some of them, so long as it wasn’t uniform and uniformly leftist. That’s what gets me.

Romney did not say that the 47% who pay no income taxes are the same as the 47% who will vote for Obama. But you probably know that, right?
Anybody making a public speech should have an analog clock (less distracting that a LED) on the front of his podium.
What comes to mind is The Simpsons episode where the commentator was showing a clip and trying to twist the event, all the while the hands on a clock in the clip were jumping back and forth.
