Do you agree with Mitt Romney that "there are 47 percent of the people…who are dependent on government,

Some of the NO votes are probably because they believe it is lower or higher than 47%.

I always participate in these polls, so I didn't even notice that a proper title and message wasn't entered with the original post.

If you had worded your response differently, I wouldn't have objected.

IMHO, anyone starting a thread should lead off the discussion. Give us some idea about some of these things: what you’re posting; why you think we should be interested; what you think about it; what you think should be done about it; etc.

Suggesting someone needs to lead off a discussion isn't the same as asking someone to provide a proper title and a brief description of the subject matter.

BreezyDog didn't need to give his opinion. He just needed to explain what the subject matter was. He didn't do that. And with regard to the need for that, I do agree with you.

Some of the NO votes are probably because ..

And s'more of 'em probably haven't clue one re the math of percentiles, but let 'em see 'Romney' and they're immediately subjected to an involuntary Pavlovian craniorectal insertion

It was a faux snit...it was my 1st post for a poll to be Freep’d. I think. I consider it a success...when I go to Freep a poll I generally don’t care to research what the poster has to say, I just go and do it. There hasn’t been a poll here yet that I didn’t agree needed to be Freep’d.

OK, I’ll dial back my comments a bit.

Agreed, it’s not always necessary to proffer an opinion. The poster is giving up the opportunity to be an opinion-maker; but that’s his choice.

I stand by my other points; although I realize I’m probably in a minority here.

Someone’s gotta be playing with the votes, when on the CNBC site, they asked the same question but have 76% that agree with over 44,000 votes!

http://www.cnbc.com/id/49071984

The questions are basically identical, but there’s a 56 point difference?! How can that be possible, especially since they’re both left wing sites?

Somethin’ fishy’s goin’ in one of these polls!

I agreed with some of your other comments, so don’t think nobody agrees with part of your take on things.

I appreciate the comments. Take care.
