Since Monday I have heard from 3 different people (all die-hard Obama voters) turning to Romney - one is a black woman from England (loved O - now sees him as a fake) - 2nd is a black woman at the office (black-victim type - now blames O for the dismal economy) - 3rd is an older white woman (Konnecticut Libtard-type) just-plain fed-up with everything about O.
RCP polls are crap.
Out of the 10 neighbor homes I can see from my house, at least 6 of them will be voting for Obama.
On one hand, I’d like to convince them otherwise, but on the other I don’t want politics to interfere with our relationships.
Oh, well, it’s worth a try.
Out here in the hinterlands of Westmoreland County, I’ve seen UFCW for Obama 2012 bumper stickers (in a local Giant Eagle parking lot) and quite a few “Obama is Destroying Coal” yard signs. Did happen to be in beautiful downtown Greensburg the other day and saw the ObamabinBiden HQ..looked kinda quiet there.
I do think PA is winnable. A lot of people who don’t usually pay attention have awakened. A great entre to discuss the economy—our sw PA electric bills have skyrocketed. I always say, do you know why??? Well let’s talk coal fired power plants being shut down here. Opens a few eyes (except for some teacher friends of mine—who are true Obot believers).
I’m almost convinced that the Dems somehow deliberately make these PA polls look so promising for the GOP, in order to get us to waste our money there. Year after year after year...
If he asked, I’d tell Romney: Forget PA. Not a dime to them. Spend whatever you have in VA, first & foremost. Then OH, FL, WI, MO, CO & MI.
PA Ping!
If you want on/off the PA Ping List, please freepmail me. Thanks!
If Romney is within one point in PA, it makes absolutely no sense that he would be behind 5-7 points in FL, VA, and OH.
Rasmussen and Gallup have both shown Romney improvement over the last week. Let’s see what happens when the purported “shock and awe” hits.
This completely matches what I am seeing on the ground in PA.
PA is in play folks if Romney fights for it could definitely be his.
Now I know strategically PA isn’t a state that will likely get precedent unless other ways to win become impossible OR the win is locked up already.
If Romney brings the fight to PA Obama will have to spend a crapload to defend it and if Obama holds it it will only be by the slimmest of margins.
The public polling for this state is crap, I don’t know if this poll is accurate but any poll showing Obama up more than a few points statewide in PA is nonsense. 3-4 points max, and frankly I don’t thinks it’s that much.
