I continue to wonder if the best thing for this Republic is for Obama to win - that's right, I said “win” - so that the RNC will finally be shown to be completely inept and incompetent in picking candidates for our party and therefore, seen as incapable of winning an election even against the most evil and socialistic president this country has ever had. Perhaps then - and only then - will the dumb incompetent moderates in our party finally consider voting for a Newt or a Sarah.

He is, without a doubt, better than Obama. Secondly, it is naive to suspect that the solution to America’s woes will come from government. While it’s true that government is the problem, the solution will come from we the people.
What are you doing to solve the problem?

The most charitable thing I could say is that he was stupid in how he expressed himself, knowing full good and well how the media are. That’s an extremely fair question, 1010. You’re right that we should always been going back to that basic question and being honest with it.
The problem is, as I see it: Government so large that the people lose their freedom.

So what? It’s been that way for a very long time.
They ignore Barry’s words, and examine Romney’s. They ignore Barry’s record, and examine Romney’s.
Romney’s “gaffe” hasn’t changed anything with the media.
They were in Barry’s pocket all along.
If Romney gets elected, they will hammer him on everything for the entire term, the exact opposite of what they did with Barry.
Any Repub candidate for any office faces the same obstacle.
I was thinking similarly, after all the group whining about how unfair the MSM is to Romney, even though all the polls are wrong and it doesnt matter anyway because Romney is really winning, I get a defense of Romney's statement being that the MSM will defend him and make Obama look bad.

Recognizing that at this point one is either behind Romney in this race or against him has nothing to do with sycophancy. It’s merely an exercise in common sense.
Either one wants Romney to beat Obama or they don’t. And anyone who wants Romney to beat Obama hopefully also recognizes that jumping on the media-sponsored Attack Romney Bandwagon at this stage of the campaign only helps Obama.

This country was founded NOT on “group think” but having a a foundation in the country with a broad spectrum of interests, beliefs and skills. They define who they are and what they believe, NOT the Government or YOU. No re;igion or other dogma is the “right” one and the only one or you are stupid and must be brought into line so I feel comfortable with you and find you acceptable.
