Wait til government takes over.....no more lawsuits allowed...just death panel bureaucrats.

Scary stuff.
Btw..don’t ever sign a DNR order either. They will not lift a finger to do even the basic life saving measures if they have a dnr. Many hospitals already have designated ghouls roaming around pressuring old people andthe very sick to sign them. They did that to my mom a few years ago when she was in the hospital and some thought she was not going to make it(she lived another 3 years). I told them no and went to lunch..came back and they were back in the room pressuring her to sign!! I hit the fan to say the least. Just tell your family members your wishes in these kind of events. Don’t sign anything at the hospital and no living wills. Hubby and I each know one another’s wishes but should probably write it down, get a notary and just keep it on file at home. Putting it on the to do list right now....lol.

Good grief, I said at the beginning and the end of my piece that that is how the doctors and the organ procurement teams think, not how I think.

Right. Those DNR’s are licenses to kill and murder.
Sarah Palin was right all along. Obamacare is death panels.

So do they justify themselves.

I heard you and that is probably 99.9% accurate. I know some doctors that run that "valuation algorithm" in their heads and it shows.

My reply was the basic reason to counter that logic

One of my sons, young and stupid getting his drivers’ license, gave himself to the deathers as a donor not realizing what he had done. This problem was uncovered by us in our most recent family gathering. Oh Vey! I melted down. He freaked out. The younger one knew.

People have no clue how the evil of Obamacare oops affordable care act, reaches their lives directly.

How many of the “a” list MSM think they only have to recieve organs and never be forced to give organs?

The best way around this is for some organization to come up with a means to identify individuals as having “internal organs not satisfactory for transplant.” Think of it as an “anti-donor card”.

Importantly, instead of saying *why* their organs are not suitable, they should provide a phone number, so that when some hospital calls, this organization can immediate notify their family that this hospital is hoping to harvest their family members’ organs, so they had better get there ASAP.

Eventually, they can come up with some bogus diagnosis for a disease very hard to detect, always lethal, only communicable through organ transplant, etc.

A possible example is early stage Creutzfeldt–Jakob (mad cow) disease. This would throw a major monkey wrench into their efforts to harvest their organs. But if the person survived, the organization could later say that the person got the card by accident, and never had the disease.

But there are probably better diseases to cite, tailor made to making organ transplant worthless, yet involving minimal other concern.

“and when our parental gub’mint has full control of health care...the resources [family member’s organs] are needed for those less fortunate”

This is just another arm of Obama’s “wealth redistribution.”Just think, your organs can be transplanted into one of Obama’s bums so he/she can continue to game the welfare system. Sorta a “new lease on life and a license to continue to steal from the productive members of our society.”

I once talked with a former transplant nurse. She said that the push to get the organs was so great, they would pull the plug on people who could recover.

This happened to my family 9 years ago. It’s been literally Hell. I had to go against the “network” for stealing my father’s body parts. The parts they stole (he was not an organ donor, but we were pressured to donate the organs, they stole everything else they could) were worth $250,000 at the product level. This isn’t “non-profit” and it’s NOT REGULATED. Bottom line, they treated our family like garbage, and pieces of my father were NOT returned to be cremated with the rest of him. Ghouls, predators, thieves.

Interestingly adult stem cells (not to be confused with fetal) are looking to be a reliable treatment AND cure for some of these transplant issues.

Do you mean, like this?

That’s impressive. I wonder if I’ll ever be able to get a new lung that way. It’s truly amazing the things they can do now.

If it happened to my loved one, I would try my best to get a neurologist fast, for another opinion.

That’s probably the smartest thing anyone could do. Most people don’t think of it in time.

After reading the Opening Post story, I think more people will. I’m so glad this story is out there!
