It’s not just white guilt. Blue collar democrats believe the same things. It’s the race version of “the big man keeping the little man down”. Standard Marxist crap that union members believe. Putting it in racial terms won’t bother them (remember John Murtha?).
That’s true, and that’s why PA is so hard to win except in occasional off-year elections, when the uninformed don’t know when to vote.
In this economy, it could well make a difference to them. They need jobs and are already competing with immigrants, legal and illegal.
