Why Was Obama‘s Audio Book Version of ’Dreams From My Father’ Purged of All References
The Blaze ^ | 10/3/12 | Tiffany Gabbay

Posted on 10/03/2012 8:55:38 AM PDT by Nachum

You might recall TheBlaze’s series of reports on Dr. Paul Kengor’s powerful book, “The Communist,” which offered a detailed account of the Communist Party ties of President Obama’s longtime mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. “Frank,” as he is referred to in Obama’s memoir “Dreams From My Father,” is mentioned multiple times in the print edition of the president’s book, however, Kengor now reveals that all references to “Frank” were purged from the volume’s abridged audio version.

It’s an observation that was first broached, albeit very briefly, by Jack Cashill in a July article. And since then, the scrubbing has gone unnoticed. Until now.

“Frank” — whose influence Kengor asserts was key to the fledgling politician and that the eccentric activist appears in “each mile-marker” of Obama’s path from Hawaii to the halls of Washington, D.C. — is mentioned no less than 22 times by name in “Dreams From My Father” and is referenced via pronouns numerous other times throughout the book.

Frank Marshall Davis wasn't living at the address in the timeframe that certain arrests were made AT ANOTHER ADDRESS.

Frank Davis' FBI file says he was living there at 2994 Kahlihi street. You and I argued about this before, and I looked it up again just to make sure it was correct. You turned out to be wrong about this, and Rummy Chick also verified this.

The address of of the Elks Lodge was 1316 Vineyard St. FMD never lived there. What makes you believe he did?

Of course they are lies, no one could be that stupid, it has to be intentional...I finally did find an image of the Elks Club building, it's two stories not four, they couldn't even get that right:

I guess that still leaves someone who has to answer for the FALSE CAPTION that looks like it was written on sticking-plaster and stuck on the bottom of an image that shows nothing more sinister than a group of people walking under a sign for the Elks Club, being led by a sailor holding a flashlight....

I think we all know by now that the name of the girl isn’t really important, I don’t give a hoot what Snopes might have called her, the results would be the same if she was Alice In Wonderland.
All I did was pick up most of the images that Joel Gilbert identified as ANN DUNHAM and used in his attempt to insinuate Frank Marshall Davis was the father of zero, both in portrait form and in full-body views, both tinted and black and white, and asked ONE SIMPLE QUESTION:

WHICH GIRL IS STANLEY ANN DUNHAM? BUT I NEVER GOT AN ANSWER.

Most of the images I used in the composites came from this video:

Just as David Maraniss attempted to repair the holes in the Obama myth ghosted by Bill Ayers, so we see the extant effort to salvage Joel Gilbert's Dreams from My Real Father.

Yet the difficulties are insurmountable:

Frank Marshall Davis is not DBA OBAMA's father.

Stanley Ann Dunham is not DBA OBAMA's mother.

Stanley Ann Dunham is not the painted lady in the porn tableaux.

The address Joel Gilbert uses does not fit the club or any residence of Davis.

At last we see Gilbert has as much proof of this hoax as he has for death of Paul or the survival of Elvis.

Which is zip, zero, nada.

I am not a breast expert but the breasts on Marcy Moore are much different than those of the purported Ann photo.

there is a side by side comparison on the first row of pictures

Looking at the way they did vintage porn...I think the purported photos are of a porn shoot and not just someone taking pictures of a girlfriend for private use.

Addressing Fred Nerks:

"You keep posting pictures of Marci Moore next to the purported pictures of Stanley Ann, as if to imply they are the same woman."

I haven't seen that happen. Where did she do that?

Here. (Message 20.)

And Here. (Message 39)

And Here. (Message 20)

At first I thought she was doing it intentionally for some reason, and then I began to think she might not have known that those pictures were of Marcy Moore. In any case, it is confusing. I don't understand the purpose of posting Marcy Moore in this discussion.

I never said anything remotely like that. I said that Frank Davis lived at 2994 Kalihi street in 1960 according to what I read in his FBI file. I never mentioned any other address, and I never mentioned the Elks club.

I believe Joel Gilbert posted a photograph that claims the 2994 Kalihi street was previously the Negro Elks club, but I have never made such a claim. I think Fred Nerks is extrapolating what she thinks is my position based on what others have said, and not actually on what *I* have said.

Due to the work of LorenC, I no longer regard information coming from Joel Gilbert with any degree of credibility. At this point, any claims by Joel Gilbert should be suspect if not outright dismissed as lies.

The theory that those photographs are Stanley Ann Dunham has taken a major hit, and I now regard it as having a diminishing probability of being her. There still exists the possibility that the original three photographs are her, but it is not as plausible as it once was, now that we have more facts to judge from.

additional: you did, elsewhere, indicate the name of whoever it is believed supplied the original tinted images to ‘Astute Bloggers’ - but that still did not identify the girl you insist is Stanley Ann Dunham. I was asking you to identify her from the composite groups for the benefit of anyone who might be reading your comments who didn’t know the background, and was just going by what they saw on this thread. Clear enough?

The last straw you cling to is to insist the images are of two women. All I was asking you to do was show which was which. If some of the images do happen to be of a woman named Marcy Moore, then show us who you think she is. Can’t you post images?

next to the purported pictures of Stanley Ann

I missed that word in your original comment, but in any case...

pur·port·ed (p r-pôr t d, -p r -). adj. Appear or claim to be or do something, esp. falsely; profess.

So my question to you is, why do you continue to purport such claims, since NONE of the photos posted in those groups of photos are of Stanley Ann Dunham?

Then the three of us agree. FMD never lived at the Elks Club and it was never located at the 2994 Kalihi St address.

Yes, I agree. Though I do not understand how that picture fits into the puzzle. It is claimed (by Gilbert) that it came from the Honolulu police department, and the labeling which Identifies it as 2994 looks to be almost as old as the picture.

Why was this picture wrongly labeled? And by the Honolulu police Department? Something doesn't make sense. At this point though, we only have Gilbert's word on the subject, so it may be just another lie.

What do you make of this?

So my question to you is, why do you continue to purport such claims, since NONE of the photos posted in those groups of photos are of Stanley Ann Dunham?

I have always thought the original three pictures were of Stanley Ann Dunham. The pictures simply resemble her too well, and if you enlarge one of them, you can see that the nude woman has what appears to be a crooked tooth in the same location as Stanley Ann was known to have a crooked tooth.

Resemblance coupled with the same tooth being crooked was too much to ask of coincidence, so I was convinced that those photographs were of Stanley Ann Dunham and taken in 1960. (Original search for the album "Cuban Fire" placed the release date in 1960. I later discovered this was a "re-release" with additional song material.)

As for the seven Gilbert photographs, I never looked at them closely, (I tried to get copies of them from Gilbert's company, and they told me to just buy the movie, which I refused to do.) and had been relying on Gilbert claiming they were of the same woman, and based on the claim from Gilbert that he had gotten them from Frank Davis Archives, and if true, that too was too much for coincidence. It was only this week that I read an article in which LorenC claims to have discovered one of the Gilbert photographs in a 1958 magazine, meaning that the Gilbert photographs could not possibly be Stanley Ann. (If what LorenC says is true.)

This leaves the original three. Since LorenC has not claimed to have found any of the original three in a magazine, the possibility exists that these could still be Stanley Ann, though I find this much less likely than I did before reading that article.

As far as being purported, those original three photographs were purported to be Stanley Ann Dunham right from the very beginning when they were first made known to the blogosphere. John Ray, the Australian University Professor who first posted them online, pronounced them to be her right from the start. Snopes tried to debunk them as her, by claiming those were pictures of Marcy Moore, but even they have thrown in the towel on this issue, and pulled all of their claims regarding them.

At this point, I am less inclined to believe the original three photographs are her, but I still am not ready to close that door permanently. There is just too much coincidence going on here.

If someone produces a magazine with one of these pictures in it that comes from before 1960, I will concede that they cannot possibly be Stanly Ann Dunham.

Maybe Joel Gilbert made the label. Unfortunately Paul Shaner died in 1995, but you could check with HPD, or maybe search the articles here:

Something seriously stinks about that caption stuck onto the bottom of that image of the people walking along under the sign -

1. the Elks Club was not at 2994 Kahili
2. the image isn’t of a raid
3. there are no uniformed police personnel there
the only uniformed person is a sailor
4. the building at which the Elks Club was since the 40’s according to the picnic notice, was at Vineyard Street
5. the building described as four story turns out to be two story
6. the photograph of the two story building at Vineyard shows clearly it was never a multi-level private residence - it looks more like an office block
7. the window in the Tudor-style single level home at 2994 Kahili which is described as being close to the floor, shows in images claimed to be of the interior that it is about 3 foot from the floor and the blind reached to the ceiling
8. but when you look at the exterior of the window, on several views from Google Earth, the window has been deliberately obscured - I posted the window images above.

And Paul Shaner is deceased, how very convenient. Frankly, I was suspicious from the moment I saw that image, I find it a little hard to believe that one can just walk into a police station anywhere and help oneself to photographic records from the archives.

Meanwhile, I have written to:

http://jonjayray.tripod.com/

I’ll let you know if he replies. All I would like to see is that we remain honest amongst ourselves...I have no interest in putting out the fire that Gilbert has lit, I’ll leave that to our banned freeper, LorenC.

The magazines Gilbert shows are: Exotique #2 Exotique #4 Exotique #6 Exotique #14 Secret Pleasures Battling Babes Bizarre Life #9 The last three magazines were published in 1958, 1957, and 1969, respectively.

NOTE: There's little possible doubt that the above images are all of the same girl and the photographs were taken at the same time. The second image from the left would have belonged to 'Battling Babes' and if LorenC is right, the above images date from 1957 or 1958.

ADDITIONAL:

Curiously, though, the pictures Gilbert shows appear in NONE of the issues he identifies. I consulted with the owner of a fansite for these magazines, who checked and confirmed that Gilbert's photos are nowhere to be seen in these issues. I personally reviewed copies of Exotique #14, Battling Babes and Secret Pleasures, and they included NO pictures of the mystery model.

So it would seem that the magazines in which the images appeared according to Gilbert is also an open question.

I'm beginning to believe the images were ALL gleaned from the free-vintage-porn website and that's why the site has been removed. I'm going to leave it there. The more one argues with a liar or a fool, the harder it is to tell the difference.
