Obama has been an “affirmative action” President. He has always had the doors opened for him with little or no effort on his part. As we all know the msm has been covering up for him. “The Emperor has no clothes” and Eastwoods “empty chair” was shown to be totally accurate tonight.
That's a bit too harsh, and not really true. 0bama wasn't elected by the American People to fill a quota. There was significant Bush-fatigue going on, and any Democratic nominee would likely have won.
So the affirmative action label is unfair, IMHO. It doesn't quite fit...
Actually, an empty chair would have fared better than Obama did.
Obama is and always was a product, politically, of his adopted homeland - Cook County, IL. Cook County is America’s North Korea. Here you are picked and groomed because you are compliant and useful to the oligarchs that run the state.
There is little competition and no challenge to bad ideas. It’s the best place to be a conservative because you better have your arguments and facts in place or you’ll get clobbered. You learn to fight with the tools you have and you never have what you need. It’s improvise, improvise, improvise and go on to victory. We mostly lose, though.
That’s the environment where Obama learned his political tradecraft. He’s never been challenged, but always coddled. He cannot shift gears because he doesn’t have any more. So when he tries to talk about growth or cutting taxes it is empty. He’s simply lying and the people know it.
Here’s the danger in a Romney victory: the economy. It’s really, really bad and the policies in place are a bandaid on top of bandaids. We need radical surgery and there isn’t any pain medicine. Unless the economy is moving in two years it will be hard to hold Congress.
We have a chance to show just how bad liberal ideas are, but with Romney as our standard bearer we better be ready - moderation isn’t going to fix the economy.
