The liberal freak out over Barack Obama's poor debate performance continued on Thursday morning. Left-wing comic Jon Stewart appeared on Good Morning America to lament the President's "very difficult night" and jokingly warn, "I'm concerned that he may not reelect us. He may walk away."
The comic even admitted Obama might not be as smart as he first imagined. Stewart mocked, "You know, I used to think the pauses, he was just trying to think of smaller words for the little brains to figure out what he was saying. This time, I really think the pauses were just, 'I like food.'...'My children are nice.'" [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
This could really be a the Emperor has no clothes moment for some of those on the left.
Imho, Obama & Mrs. are of average intelligence. I’ve never understood why so many people have misjudged them.
Yes, and the majority of American voters who are also not geniuses, were easily misled into believing that his vacuous speeches employing vague pseudo-lofty rhetoric, were “articulate”. All the “uhs” and “ums” are the core Hussein.
Also “race card fatigue” has set in.
Don't confuse the speech with the speechwriter.
When left on his own, his lack of intellect is painfully on display.

What evidence have we ever had that he’s smart? Getting elected to the White House doesn’t prove that, especially in the “American Idol” era. (”Boxers or briefs?”) What has he ever done to show he’s smart? Apparently his college scores are a national security secret. He was a token at the Hrvard Law Review. He not only isn’t a good speaker compared to good speakers, he’s not even a good speaker compared to any populist demagogue.
He’s not even that good of a news reader, as the Brits call an anchorman. He couldn’t pass an audition for a mid-level market job. Rush Limbaugh makes hundreds of millions a year on the radio, Barry might make $20,000 a year in Gary, Indiana on a tiny AM station.
Fascinating. The "followers" are well-versed in the story Axelrod was trying to weave in the runup...."Romney is a liar....won't show his tax returns....lies about ...everything!"
And Obama tried to call him a liar during the debate but he sucked at it. The weakest link in the entire coup turned out to be the Manchurian Fool. The rank-and-file in the media and comments section is continuing with the plan though!
You’re right, except for the part about being articulate. I don’t think he even qualifies in that regard, although he did sound a bit more articulate last night than on his “Homey” tape from 2007.
Was that performance really a surprise to any of us here? Our affirmative action President lived up to my expectations completely.

I hate to say it Stewart, but you are a little slow too. Many of us were able to guess a long time ago that Obama was a made up phony and not all that bright.
I am disappointed that Stewart just figured it out.
But I know which Obozo it was-not the fake “post-racial” one for whom the media blows smoke, but the true racist one when speaking to “his” people.
Once elected president, he was acutely aware that any and all of his tens of thousands of bald faced lies would be covered up and even praised by our utterly corrupt, simple-minded, pathologically dishonest media.
His self-absorption and vast ego fed on their zealous and continuous worship. And knowing the media would actively cover up any crime he commits, short of murdering somebody on live national television, he got lazy.
He is really, really not accustomed to anybody challenging him. He expects only continuous, mindless praise. He expects everyone to lie, cheat and sacrifice themselves for him. And he will do what he has done his entire life, which is to exert virtually no effort himself.

Unfortunately for the Left, while Obama gets 2 weeks to prepare for the next round, Biden goes up against Ryan on Thursday the 11th (9-1030pm). It’s going to get worse before any chance of getting better for them.
