Jon Stewart Mocks Obama's 'Very Difficult Night,' Wonders If the President Isn't That Smart
NewsBusters ^

Posted on 10/04/2012 9:59:18 AM PDT by chessplayer

The liberal freak out over Barack Obama's poor debate performance continued on Thursday morning. Left-wing comic Jon Stewart appeared on Good Morning America to lament the President's "very difficult night" and jokingly warn, "I'm concerned that he may not reelect us. He may walk away."

The comic even admitted Obama might not be as smart as he first imagined. Stewart mocked, "You know, I used to think the pauses, he was just trying to think of smaller words for the little brains to figure out what he was saying. This time, I really think the pauses were just, 'I like food.'...'My children are nice.'" [See video below. MP3 audio here.]

In 2000, 70% of young men are not grown up by the age of 30,
up from 35% in 1960,
as defined by achieving these milestones:
finishing school, moving away from the parental home, becoming financially independent, getting married, and having a child

Mitt knew more of the facts than Barry, -
but then Barry can't be bothered with attending intelligence briefings - who cares if an ambassador or two get killed; or meeting with the Jobs Council - so what if half the Country is out of work, he's got important "bidness" to do like being on The Spew with Whoopie, Babba Wawa, Joy the trained Bear and dem other bitches!

When I was a kid, early 20’s, I worked at a gas station for a couple months.

These guys would come in all the time. True slick-meisters.

They’d toss a five spot on the counter, then put some Skittles or whatever up there, then ask you for change, then change their mind and not want the Skittles, then ask about if I would take a check, on and on and on and I always knew their whole point was to try to scam be out of a twenty.

Slick-meisters, just fast talkin con artists.

One of them got a bit older and ran for prez in 2008, and now we’re seeing the truth!

Ambassadors getting killed and high unemployment are nothing more than bumps in the road. He just needs more time!

The same reasoning that the women during the Menendez bothers jury used to not convict them after they lost both their parents even though they shot them in cold blood. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed.

Yep, I didn’t get married until I was 31. My sons quite a bet earlier.

The really sad thing is there are so many smart, accomplished blacks that could have served as a positive role model President, but the fraudster beat them to it.

He ain't the Jackie Robinson-type that his champions thought he would be. Jackie Robinson was actually very, very good at baseball.

We can kind of channel Eddie McCormack here, who famously said to Ted Kennedy "if your name was Edward Moore, not Edward Moore Kennedy, your candidacy would be a joke." Because quite frankly, if Barack Obama had been white instead of half-black, his candidacy would have been a total joke from day one.

The Disaster MIGHT have an I.Q of 110 but I have seen no evidence of it. He is NOWHERE as bright as Romney, Clinton or Bush. He is as intelligent as Kerry no doubt but...

I agree, he is as intelligent as Kerry. I was thinking that his IQ might be 130ish, based on meeting someone (press lady) who knew him personally from interviews, plane trips etc. She said he is an awesome scrabble/board game player and is very competitive on the airplane, and a fun person to be around.

I don't bear him any ill will, I am just tired of hearing "fair share, millionares and billionares, the rich etc.". He is a very devious liar and would wreck the country if re-elected.

Dennis Miller did it.

I loved Dennis Miller's tweet last night:

(paraphrased) Obama had better hope that a kicked ass is covered by Obamacare.

What’s funny is that so many of the lefties were totally taken by surprise. Totally shocked that their Hero/God proved himself a mortal.

And yet they still say “Reality has a liberal bias.” (/rolling my eyes so hard I see my brain)

I wish I could take credit for it, but another freeper called him that soon after he was elected (and it was patently obvious he was in over his head).

I was thinking that his IQ might be 130ish,

That is pretty close to my assessment. I think he is in the top 1%, which would be an IQ about 135. He is not stupid, but nowhere near close to the circles (world leaders) that he is running in.

In the bubble that liberals have made for themselves, image is everything, and he has learned to do "image". Who was it that looked at the crease in his pants, and *knew* he was presidential material?

My guess is Romney is up near the 155 area, based on the rarity of his talents. I have been lucky to associate with some very bright people in my life.

I would put my own intelligence level as pretty close to Barrack based on some long ago test scores. Intelligence is not the same as wisdom.

President Obama scores very low in wisdom, imho, which many will mistake as stupidity, when instead it is simply false assumptions. People can be very smart about making stupid decisions based on false assumptions. President Obama has been brought up on false assumptions his entire life, and has been protected from reality.

Once Toto pulled back the curtain and exposed the man who was behind the Wizard of Oz there was no turning back to seeing that is the real truth.
Now ? the media is in the ( DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN ) .... and Clint Eastwood was the Toto with a a little help from Romney.

Imho, Obama & Mrs. are of average intelligence

He can't speak in public without a teleprompter. And his grades are a secret. If they were stellar you'd never hear the end of it.

Her thesis at college, which had grammatical mistakes in the introduction, told me all I needed to know about her "intelligence" and the affirmative action that got her in.

I agree with your assessment. He is a gifted individual who has been made dumber by lack of positive real life experiences, and he is noticibly lacking of common sense by his prolonged academic position as a law teacher.

Romney, on the other hand, is more gifted, probably intellectually, and definitely in leadership qualities. Romney is more gifted in the skills of running a country in dire trouble.

In fairness, I do not have a hard time believing that Obama would be more fun to play board games with in the back of the airplane. :)

Instead of confronting the news reporterette on the slanted reporting of her prefession (Reuters reporter), I was so interested in talking with her to get insight into the media mindset I did not bring up anything controversial. And she was genuinely nice. Did I do the right thing not saying anything provocative?

Yes. It was more productive to obtain information. You would not have changed her world view. That is almost impossible to do.
