The enablers are already lining up with the excuses, when Coulter really nailed it by pointing out he expects a standing ovation just for showing up and being cool. His whole life seems to be playing off this one thing.

But but but - Obama is a great athlete, shooting jumpers over NBA stars and doing laps with Reggie Love. Surely a little altitude wouldn’t tire him out.

Though Gore’s home world of Hoth is perpetually locked in ice, its tallest mountains are only a few hundred feet tall, so he is not only susceptible to warm temperatures but high altitudes.

"Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know ..."
So...this would mean that you're a vapid air-head, right, Al?

Gore said the curvature of the earth is so sharp at that altitude that Obama had all he could do to keep his balance. That’s why he continually raised his foot off the floor.

Obama spent three days at a golf resort in Henderson, Nevada before flying to Denver(5,200 feet). The elevation of Henderson is approximately 2,300 feet. Henderson may have actually been chosen for Obama’s debate prep because it would allow his body to gradually adjust to altitude.
