Thanks for the info and the link.

I still think Romney is missing the mark dramatically by (apparently) not adverising on national cable channels. How many people watch local networks versus ESPN, A&E, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, TBS, TNT, etc., etc.

I think a huge percentage of TV viewership is on these large national channels and the Romney camp appears to have blown them off entirely.

You're not understanding: He is advertising on national cable channels. But technology now allows advertisers to target specific segments of advertising to local markets and regional markets on "national channels." While you are seeing an ad for Wal Mart on NBC in Texas, a guy in Ohio is seeing a Romney ad, and a guy in Pennsylvania is seeing an ad for the PA Senate race.

Really.

Mr. Kimball,

Please step away from the insecticide and pay attention. Regardless of whether or not a shows are across the country, either regular network or cable, there are STILL local ads. My cable distributor is local, many are local. You don’t have Buckeye cable (an Ohio company) in Texas, do you?

Hank, is it smart to spend money on 35-40 states where the election will not be decided, or to target the handful of MUST WIN AT ALL COST states? Do you want to elect a dope or a smart guy? If Romney does what you want, he is a dope. I personally have had enough of having a dope in the top spot. How about you?
