DWS to Piers Morgan: How dare you call our entirely discredited cover story on Benghazi false
Hotair ^

PIERS MORGAN: The really important horse that should be flogged is the behavior and the statements of those who were in positions of responsibility and, we would assume, knowledge. And it’s pretty un-American, pretty un-American to be putting out completely false statements before you know the facts. Isn’t it?

DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Piers, it is not, it is not OK for you to be saying that the administration was putting out completely false statements. They put out information that they had at the time based on the intelligence they were given and then as the days wore on and more…

MORGAN: That turned out to be completely wrong.

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Well, that doesn’t mean it was false.

To quote an “unnamed administration official”, there is a phrase that describes what the Obama administration did: they “shot before aiming”. It seems that this accusation was fodder for the press for a whole week when Romney was accused of it. It should be fodder now, as well, when the Obama administration is proven to have done it.

Only a libtard could make a statement like that with a straight...if very ugly....face!

This was one of the most comical moments of Debbie W-S that I’ve ever before seen. She was incredulous with Piers and his refusal to give Obama a pass, and for the first time, I think Piers is rethinking his position on Obama. It was funny from start to finish.

Next interview we hear might be her concession speech.
How are the polls looking for you? “We are delighted; our latest polling shows we are in perfect position with 25% of Democrats saying they will be voting for us. We are only 5 points behind, but there is a 16% undecided factor, which never bodes well for an incumbent.”

How does one even respond to that?

************************************************************

The correct response would be a “Johnny Carson”

After the lame statement by DWS you slowly turn your head and stare deadpan into the camera for 5 full seconds without saying a word.

Yup! George Burns would do that too on his tv show. His wife or someone else would say something totally off the wall and Burns would just turn and look into the camera.

It would have been hilarious to see Morgan do a ‘Johnny Carson’ after DWS said that.

Democrats like Wasserman Schultz were certainly quick to equate wrong with lie in 2003-4. In this case, it’s revealing that she leapt to that same connection before Morgan did.

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Well, that doesn’t mean it was false.

Does this not PERFECTLY capture the essence of liberalism?

Yeah, its hard to top this : )

“If I was drunk and woke up in bed with her and she was asleep on my arm, the only logical answer would be to chew your arm off instead of waking her up.”

I disagree. Throw her off of bed, bum rush her out of the apt and lock the door. Why mutilate yourself. :-)

Is there such a thing as logical whiplash? I think I have it now.
