WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says Joe Biden "was terrific" in the vice presidential debate.
Obama spoke to Biden briefly after the debate. The president says he "could not be prouder" of Biden and believes he made a strong case for making sure the economy grows for the middle class.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden mockingly smiled, wagged his finger and couldn’t seem to stop interrupting Republican running mate Paul Ryan.
“With all due respect, that’s a bunch of malarkey,” Biden said at one point, during an exchange on foreign policy.
Democrats cheered his sharp tone in the only vice presidential debate. Republicans panned the vice president as disrespectful to his younger opponent.

Of course he did. Rudeness is among their strong points...buffoonery, blow hardiness and with lots of help from the media is the only way they know. I hope someone throws shoes at 0bama (shoe on the other foots?)

Yeah. Great performance, Joe. Unbelievable. 82 interruptions counted in 90 minutes. And Ryan was only speaking about half of that time!
I imagine that anyone who likes assholes would find Biden’s performance “terrific”.

Paul Ryan cleaned Joe’s clock, I know exactly who I want my VP to be, and I know exactly who I do not want my VP to be.
I must have missed the part where Biden said he was going to vote for Romney.

Ole Wooooolfieeeee on CNN offered up the following information, then said the performances were seen as very close. Even the stats they provided didn’t back that up.

Biden’s worse figure was 7% larger than Ryan’s, at over 25%. Ryan’s was less than 20%.
While Biden’s better figure was 4% larger, Ryan’s Same figure was 10% larger.
Biden’s Better or Same figure, 73%.
Ryan’s Better or Same figure, 79%.
That seems better for Ryan to me.
We will see how terrific he did tomorrow morning. New GOP video is coming out, “THE PROBLEMS WE FACE ARE NO LAUGHING MATTER”.
For two weeks this Administration was saying the Libya attack was spontaneous. Biden says that was because the Intelligence Community said it was. Is this the same Intelligence Community that going to tell us when Iran is close to getting the bomb? We are so screwed.

Biden was not just disrespectful to Ryan. His sh!t eating grin, laughing, smirking, and stupid faces were disrespectful to the debate process and all of America. He appeared to be the elementary class clown trying to grab some attention. His disgraceful performance was certainly beneath the dignity of the office to which he aspires.

To see that the rudest, most ungracious performance I’ve ever seen is “terrific,” without a word of apology for Biden’s blatant bullying tactics is to be expected. Sad.
Biden was over compensating for Obama’s bad performance but wound up just looking like a rude idiot. Biden came across like every arrogant lawyer POS who is out of touch in DC.
This debate was more of debacle with the interrupting and horrible bias moderator. I doubt the average person watching walked away with any real information about the issues. Biden was distracting EVERYONE not just Ryan.

There are probably a couple dozen freepers that could have done a whole lot better than Ryan did. He wins by default because Biden made a complete ass of himself.
We should recognize that Ryan missed many opportunities to punch back, as did Romney in his debate. The GOPe cannot win this if all they have is, Tax Cuts vs Free Stuff, not a compelling argument to convince that 47%, or any fence sitters.
It used to be a bad thing to be Communist, guess I have to learn to be more tolerant.
You need to write to Palin and prepare her that she’s running for President. I don’t think she’s aware of that.
You need to accept the reality that the majority of that 47% are no longer compelled by the "growing-pie" "increased-opportunity" argument. This ain't 1980 anymore. There are a great many people out there who are actually compelled by the "Free Stuff" argument. Indeed, they view "Free Stuff" not as a safety net, the way we did back in the day, but rather as a "human right."
Romney knows what the hell he was talking about with the 47%. And all of us who have at one time been part of that 47%, even as we struggled to become part of the 53%, know he was not talking about us. And all of us know at least someone who is part of that 47%, and from whom nobody but a "Free-Stuff" demagogue will ever receive a vote.
