No, Obama winning was the nadir. At least the EU has been around for a while and has a record, though of course the peace has nothing to do with them. Obama got his for making a couple of speeches one summer.
By the way, have they ever honored a giant organization like this before? They might as well give the prize to the concept of supranationalism. Then it’s only a matter of time before peace itself wins.
