Kudlow: Obama to Pin Libya on Hillary Clinton?
CNBC ^ | 12 October 2012 | Lee Brodie

Posted on 10/13/2012 3:29:47 PM PDT by AFPhys

According to proprietary reporting from Ed Klein, Bill Clinton is concerned that Barack Obama is about to throw Hillary Clinton under the bus.

On The Kudlow Report, Klein said that President Clinton is reaching out to friends in the legal profession trying to figure out what his wife should do if she’s subpoenaed - called in to testify about events in Libya.

Joe Klein went on to say if you listen to the language used by Joe Biden in the debate closely – Bill Clinton's move may be more than simply precautionary.

“Biden said something like we were unaware – nobody told us. What does that say? The only person who did know is Hillary Clinton,” explained Klein.

“This is exactly what Bill Clinton was afraid of,” he added. The administration is going to pin the whole thing on Hillary. In recent days the administration has come under scrutiny for the way in which it released information about the Libya attacks to the American public.

On September 11, 2012 Ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and the other Americans were killed after Islamist gunmen attacked the U.S. consulate and a safe house refuge in Benghazi.

At the time the White House called the attack a spontaneous event; in response to a film that portrayed Muslim in an unflattering light.

Republicans charge the White House deliberately misled the people, knowing it was an act of terror. They say the decision was political, that Obama didn't want to disclose that al-Qadea had made a comeback in Libya.

In response to these charges, the White House has denied any intentional cover-up and counters that it has been completely transparent – providing its best intelligence on the attack, and then refining it as more information came to light.

The FBI is still investigating the attack. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also has named a State Department review panel to look into the security arrangements in Libya.

I’ve listened to the Kudlow-Klein podcast - thanks for the suggestion. Well worth the time - these guys know more “inside baseball” than most and it really makes sense.

Actually, this is tailor-made for the Clintons in many ways. We know that Bill at least despises Obama, and they both resent how Obama took their “rightful place” at the top of the democrat party in 2008. So here is the perfect opportunity to eviscerate Obama and save Hillary’s reputation in one fell swoop.

Sure, it would mean Republicans win the Presidency but Clinton knows that’s going to happen anyway. No downside, it’s all good for them.

Maybe she will rat on Obama for being on the golf course while the decision to take out OBL was made

One of Ed Klein’s and Kudlow’s points they made in the podcast is how -bama is given the NSA’s briefing every day, and in that is such information as the personnel concerns of the State Department. They detail the process whereby it gets there.

I like your take.

Maybe she should have spent less time partying with the softball team and more time paying attention to her job. Perhaps is Obama had attended a Daily Briefing, somebody might have discussed it.

If there is one thing that Obama has a lifetime of experience doing, it's deflecting the blame when his stuff hits the fan. It's amazing that this is the dominant trait of an American President.

From the podcast, I believe that Ed Klein believes that Obama has an intractable, if not insoluble, problem: does he throw his VP Uncle Joe under the bus, or does he throw Hitlery under the bus, or does he try to obfuscate dodge duck and bamboozle the press. Each of those choices has huge risks and little reward potential.

Some of those questions of yours will be much more clear if you listen to the first 18 minutes of the podcast of Kudlow’s show today.

Thanks for the testimony of the worthwhile nature of the podcast. Others I pointed it out to have found it useful, too. Kudlow and Klein know MUCH more about the nature of this scandal than most reporters about it, as does Levin.

Thanks for the link, AFP. I’m listening to the show now.
I thought it was going to be from the other Larry Kudlow, the Dem. stategist...how funny that they both have the same name.

Susan Rice needs to be subpoened and reveal under oath who directed her. I suspect it’s Val Jarrett...but she won’t be thrown under the bus. She runs the country and for some strange reason, is the Obama’s idol.

God is working behind the scenes with the Libya scandal...but sadly, five patriots had to lose their lives for truth. In that respect, they are heroes.

Pin it on her? She is the Sec. of State isn't she?

Col. Hunt On The Newest Libyan Revelations (huge coverup!)

Everyone was informed of the attack in Benghazi in real time. Sec. State, Pres., the Pentagon, the CIA ... It's automatic, required by law and all logged.

Does anyone know the timing of a subpeona to Hillary? Can she be called to testify in front of Congress before the election?

Thanks for the tip. I listened to Kudlow’s interview with Klein and I get the feeling this isn’t going to end well for Obama or Hillary. Better than it did for Ambassador Stevens, but bad enough.

The MSM will cover for both Clinton and Obama and simply ignore the problem

Unless the MSM makes this a story he doesn't have to do anything but stonewall
