On the day the bodies were returning Obama had a meeting at the White House with Olympic athletes. Apparently, the arrival of the plane in Dover didn't give him time to be there and return in time for his Olympic event. So, he had the plane diverted to Andrews, which is closer to the White House, and staged a media event in a hanger adorned with blue drapes and parked hearses.

Hillary flew in. They both made speeches and left, then the bodies were reloaded into the planes and continued on to their original destination at Dover.
