I need help understanding some of this.
Why would Turkey help arm the Syrians? In the past 2 weeks or so I got the impression that the two countries are coming to blows because Syrian rockets (or ours I guess) landed in Turkey, so Turkey retaliated. Is that correct?
If so, I’m just going in circles trying to understand all this now.

Oh well, besides Everything that has happened in the middle east for the last two years because he listens to the islamists IN THIER OWN WORDS!
I’m beginning to wonder if those behind this arms deal ever intended for Amb Stevens to get out of Libya alive.
And at what point did Amb Stevens figure out he was the patsy? When I read thru his cables to the State Dept it seems like he’s trying to communicate more than what his words say at face value. I read horror and desperation in his words. It’s all so sickening.....
