I believe the Obama campaign is about to prove him wrong.
I am not going defend the intellect of a nation where the top entertainers are Honey Boo Boo and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” But when it comes to picking a president, folks who care enough to vote can tell the difference between the presidential and the petty.
And right now, Team Obama is waging the least presidential, most petty campaign in the modern era. As Americans struggle to find jobs, pay bills and put gas in the tank, what is the Obama campaign talking about?
Big Bird, “binders” and “bad boy” Tagg Romney.
A month ago, if you’d told me that a major presidential candidate would pay for and broadcast a parody about Big Bird, I’d think you were nuts. If you said a sitting president would do it, I’d have referred you to a shrink.
But the Obama campaign ran it. An ad so bad that, when it ran during “Saturday Night Live” last week, many people thought it was a bit produced by the show.
Alas, SNL hasn’t been that funny in years ...
What nobody thinks is that Big Bird is a pressing issue of the day. The same with Mitt Romney’s comment Tuesday night about his staff bringing him “binders full of women” as he looked for qualified people to work in his administration.
I’m not big on quotas, so I didn’t find the comment particularly compelling. But the Obama administration seized upon the “binder” issue as central to the very survival of our republic.

“Binders” is as dumb a non-issue as I’ve ever heard or seen.
Is there really someone out there who doesn’t understand getting names of qualified people and compiling their resumes in a binder?
If Romney got binders full of national security data to read, would that be positive or negative?
I don’t even believe I’m talking about this. It can only mean these people are desperate.
He’s got thousands of women locked up in this binder, and they’re struggling to get out, but they’re imprisoned, starved, demeaned. Tiny little elven women. Tinkerbell in a Binder and Peter Pan maliciously laughing that he has the little people held captive in a binder. Are Americans this stupid??!!
Obama literally cannot be serious. He’s a clown trying to look cool which is why he’s a clown in the first place. Style by itself is phony and in His case it really shows.
But sadly, tomorrow never comes.
what is obama going to run on his record? 23 million people unemployed, 1 in 6 in poverty, 50% unemployment for recent college grads, gas price double what they were when he took office, 1.5 trillion in new debt a year for 4 years more than the previous 43 presidents combined, 47 million on food stamps up 32 percent, food stamp spending up 100%, $90 billion to green energy companies half of which are now bankrupt and just happened to be obama donors, health care cost up $2500 per family, income down $4000 per family, that is why they are talking about binders and big bird
