Why doesn't Romney just say the obvious: the death of Bin Laden accomplished absolutely nothing. When the Pakistani MD led us to him, he was a sick old man watching porn videos and eating Cheetos in a room that looked like a scene from "Hoaders: Buried Alive". He had been cut off from Al Queda for 2.5 years by Al-Zawahiri, who considered Osama a liability for the organization, who was unable to bring in the cash any longer. And since his death the rate of KIAs in Afghan theater has gone up nearly 70%, as Al Queda has trained the Taliban in new strategies, IEDs, and infiltrated the Afghan "Army" - leading to a barrage of mass murders of unsuspecting American GIs and CIA operatives. In addition, it is obvious from prior calls from Al-Zawahiri, that the Benghazi attack was an Al Queda operation - despite the Administration's recent frenzy to deny it, using their stooges at WaPo to help them.

The stunning truth is that Al Queda is stronger now than at any time since George W. Bush left office. Obama took the advantage Bush gave us, and pissed it away.

Good OPSEC call by special operators. This tells me that the planners and decision makers had such a marked distrust for anyone in the White House to keep the mission details under wraps and not alert the Pakis and God knows who else that ST6 was inbound until it was too late to act on the information.

One can only imagine how this would have unfolded if Obama and Jarret had known specific timelines, routes and scheme of maneuver in advance.

I remember hearing about this within a couple of weeks on the War Room with Quin & Rose. I can't remember the article they used as a source, but Panetta (then CIA director), Bill Daly (then chief of staff) and Hillary went around Obama's back to get this done, because he, via Valerie Jarrett had already turned down the raid twice. They set it up, so that Mr. Gutsy Call had no choice.

It's nice this is getting out to a broader audience, but it is old news.
