Who forced them to hand those attackers back over to the Libyans? That needs to be known too - and flies in the face of Obama’s claim that he had immediately, as soon as hearing of the attack, ordered everybody to boost security (HA!) and find out who did this.
Everything Obama said in response to this question in the debate has now been shown to be absolute bullsh!t. His comment about Romney was total projection.

did not make it to the final version aired by 60 minutes on 9/23. In fact, CBS did not even release that quote until mid October.
What was in the orginal airing?

A good guess is the quote was spiked (doesn’t Obama reserve some sort of approval as to what is published from his interviews—or did I dream that?)because someone thought it might lead to questions about what exactly happened that night.

The person in line for the Oval Office after Obama & Biden is the current Speaker of the House, in this case, Boehner. That is because the House of Representatives most closely reprsents the voting will of the people, I was taught.
The Sec of State is not an elected position—it is an APPOINTED one.
Remember how many times we here on FR got the shakes over the possibility that Nancy Pelosi could be the President if anything happened to Geo Bush?
Sec of State is probably somewhere down the line of succession, but not 3rd.
This might put Obama's going-to-bed-early last Sept 11th in a different light. And his subsequent jetting off to Vegas for a fundraiser.
Those actions look bad -- but maybe they provide Obama cover.
After all, if Obama had stayed on duty in the White House Situation Room, and had been engaged and in charge ... while making his own version of JFK's disastrous Bay of Pigs decision ... wouldn't that have looked even worse ?
