Can actions as a CIA operative and no longer active military be eligible for the Metal of Honor?
The CIA has its Wall of Honor for agents. There is a star for each agent, who died protecting America.
Now, there is a Book of Honor to explain some of the stars.
“The Book of Honoron display in front of the Memorial Wall at all timescontains the names of employees who died while serving their country. Each is next to a 23-carat gold leaf star. For reasons of securityto protect intelligence sources and methodsthe names of some of those on the Wall must remain secret, even in death. Each of these officers is remembered in the book by a gold star alone.”
