Where are all the lib pressies hailing Obama's GUTZY CALL in not sending help to Bengahzi? We've seen photos of Obama, pulled off the golf course watching the raid on Bin Laden, and him in the situation room after delivering the pizza to Florida yesterday.
I want this to never go away until someone is in jail
On a moral scale, the MSM ranks lower than Obama.
In fact, it is because of their lack of integrity and bias that Obama ended up in the WH.
Excuse me, but a gutsy call would have been to use our military might that had them in thier sights and blast them to smithereens,
NOT wait until they murdered the ambassador and everyone around him.
Nothing gutsy about cowardice, indecision and indecisive weakness in the face of confeontation.
I am wondering about some things.
1. Does a President ever issue an open ended directive such as “Do all you can”? Don’t Presidents give orders that say, “ you, do so and such, when, where, and how and don’t worry about why?
2. Where are the 30+ people rescued? Surely they are well aware of what happened. Why have we not heard from them? Where are they and that leads me to a 3rd question.
3. How did the fighting stop at the annex. Did the terrorists just get tired and walk away, leaving all those at the annex alone and a bus came and picked them up and took them to the airport?

If obama did anything reasonable, or heroic, you would of heard it. I believe the ambassador was running guns to al queda in Syria. This is a cover up.
I have to be honest here....I despise most gutless, self serving, self aggrandizing, corrupt politicians, of BOTH Parties who typically put our country last, and themselves and Party first.
That said ...... not as a pundit but as an old fart who once served in military in the late 60s and have an interest in the 34 USN KIA and 170 wounded on the USS Liberty because of a sneaky attack on it by a so-called ally, and it bothers me to see the 50th year anniversary of this travesty slip by several years ago without so much as any recognition from the worthless pols who suck on US taxpayers, but claim to be our representatives who want to be reelected more than anything else.
The event in Libya doesn’t begin to compare with the travesty of LBJ and the USS Liberty, nor does speculation by a few compare with an investigation by the Chairman of the JCS Admiral Moorer that needs totally exposed.

I never in my life heard/knew about this. So far I have only read the 1st paragraph, but rest assured I will go read the rest, but I couldn’t help but think...don’t you think that had THAT been throughly investigated at the time, perhaps we would not be dealing with what we are now, AND some of us would not think it is the first time we have betrayed our own like this.
I mean I am really sorry those men were killed and sorry for their families, but it is bigger than that, This has wounded our country in a way that I am not sure can ever be healed.
One place it says it an attack by Israel in another that the planes were unmarked. Why would Israel do this? Are you certain it was Israel?

Those are the types of unanswered questions which coupled with the stand down direction, strongly imply we were controlling the attackers as another ‘friendly force’, with intent to remove the consulate and annex personnel from the scene with plausible deniability.
The senior US diplomat in the Annex had been reported as directing the full evacuation at dawn, but with the force provided, tactically that would be akin to driving as quick as you can to get to the Highway of Death.
Not to mention, trying to crash through their opposition with more civilians than fighters, when low on ammo and no supporting arms, seems to involve for more uncertainty than taking out one mortar position actively firing in a suburban neighborhood. Where was the Stand Down order when that was in action?, if the command was consistent.
Given the lack of command support, I don’t doubt the evacuate order wasn’t plausible for those on the scene, but it also appears the objective of the attackers really wasn’t with the harm, death, or status of the Americans other than to insure we didn’t remain in that area by use of military force. Their objective was to seize the compounds by military force and it appears all the locals and the diplomats knew this.
If their objective had been vengeance for videos, they would have wanted death for all the occupants, and they wouldn’t have made it out of the area.
To your questions, yes, and yes.
Then again, nations have the right to defend themselves. If it appears your communication listening ship is transmitting information, which ends up in a critical path back to your adversary in combat, don’t be surprised if it is targeted.
I agree, other things should have been done to silence the ship without the actions taken, but they aren’t entirely without basis.
