Banning private individuals from selling their goods is unconstitutional.

There is nothing that needs to be fixed and people who want to kill someone - they sure as heck aren’t going to allow another gun control law to stand in their way.

You need a handgun permit or CC permit in NC to do a private handgun sale or any sort of private transfer like inheriting or gifts.
Been that way since Brady, I believe. It’s actually quite restrictive. You have to pay a fee and get a background check for the permit, then you have to take the permit to the dealer, where you get another background check for the purchase.
If you have a CC permit, that takes the place of the purchase permit.
