Even here, some people just don’t get it. They think if the marathon is on, it will go as usual with a big ka-ching. In fact, people who planned on attending will stay away in droves.

Anybody feeling frisky enough to participate, ought to get into a bucket brigade to get flush water to people in high rises.

Bloomie better cancel or he may find that those who live by the optics can die by the optics.

It would be a good time for ANY OTHER MARATHON to announce they will accept your NYM registration to run at their race. It would be ideal if it were conducted at “about the same time” since marathon training schedules are pretty strict. I’m too lazy to look up the marathon calendar for them, but I’m sure there are plenty of fall marathons to run. Maybe they can even donate some proceeds to storm repair.
