Experts fear close US race could lead to votes recount, EU delay

With President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney continuing to run neck-and-neck in the US presidential race, analysts in Washington are seriously considering whether a recount on 7 November will be necessary. The consequence could be far-reaching for Europe, which is waiting until the US vote to take a decision on debt-laden Greece.

Five days before Americans go to vote, the latest Washington Post–ABC News poll showed the two candidates within decimal points of each other nationally and across the battleground states (49% for Obama, 48% Romney).

And the likelihood of a recount can now no longer be excluded, experts warn, saying uncertainty in the US could have consequences for the wider world economy. …

I seriously doubt there will be any recounts, it will be a blow out, and Europe can go back to solving their problems knowing that Mitt has taken the lead. I know they wanted Obama to win, but he just has lied to many times, it is all Bush´s fault, the teleprompter was made by a company that George W. Bush owns.

IMHO this election will go down in history as an example of the most dishonest election ever held in the USA including all the elections previously held in Chicago or in Illinois. The Marxists have been waiting too long to give up without a fight, low blows, theft, cheating and bribery. It will be the Chicago way raised to to 10th power. God save the Republic.

If the dems don't steal this election, Romney and the GOP leadership need to close the loopholes for fraud ASAP.

Europe is WAY too interested in how this election goes and they have drank the "voter discrimination" kool-aid... THEY will use the UN to steal the next election (if the fix isn't already in for this one).

I hope it’s not going to be like this from here on out, every national election a bloody fight to the death that starts a year or more before the actual election. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. The Alinsky-trained left said the political is personal, and the ends justify the means. How will we on the right fight increasing voter fraud? I know we’re getting voter ID through in some places, but document fraud is not beyond them, nor poll workers ignoring document irregularities.

I’m so sick of the cheating lying evil left I can’t stand them. I know adults are supposed to rise above politics, but if I had an activist-type leftist among my friends or family, I don’t think I could have a relationship with them anymore. What kind of person would they have to be to actively advocate for the evil of the modern left?

I read the online Daily Telegraph, supposed to be somewhat to the right, and even a lot of their so-called conservative types have opposed Romney, and not from the right. I don’t know how real conservatives stand it there, they seem to be practically a fringe party (if they had a party). Even their rightist parties such as UKIP seem to have some leftist domestic policies.

The only recount necessary will be to determine whether Romney blew Obuttwipe away by two to one or three to one.

Misery loves company. The socialist have screwed up Europe and wanted us to go down the same path. Sorry, we are a Republic with a constitution. We are going to elect someone who respects that fact.

The UKIP describe themselves as “libertarian”. They seem to share some of the anti-Israel characteristics as US libertarians too (particularly onray aulpay); their stance on Israel defending themselves defaults to the leftist “proportional response” demand.

I suppose if I had to live there, I would have to support UKIP as the only viable way of ever having a chance of escaping the stranglehold of the EU, until which they can never decide other policies for themselves as a sovereign nation.

I swear, there is something in the air around the world compelling people to seemingly not mind losing their freedom in one way or another. And even when they think they’re getting some kind of security for it, they never do. And even when they have proof of that by seeing what happens to other nations, it’s as if they had some kind of color-blindness which prevents them from seeing that one fact.

As if this country did not have enough burden of it’s own moochers and the corruption of its own media to carry, it looks like it’s expected to carry the burden of the EUsocialist lazybums as well. That’s why their govertment controlled media are such Obama cheerleaders.

I am sick of it all too. Either Republicans are going to have to get down in the dirt and get darn good at it or we need to go our separate ways. I want to live under our sacred Constitution with like minded people, I’m tired of us having to pull the wagon.
