Susquehanna Polling and Research results for Pennsylvania released today shows Mitt Romney leading President Obama 49% to 45% among 1376 likely voters. Two percent are undecided and 3% are for other candidates.
In the same sample Republican Tom Smith leads Senator Casey by two percentage points in the race for the United States Senate seat from Pennsylvania. Smith is at 48% to Casey’s 46% according to this poll.
Diana Irey Vaughan (R) is tied with McCord at 45% each, David Freed(R) trails Kane by 45% to 47% and Maher(R) leads DePasuale 45% to 44%.
This poll shows the highly competitive nature of all statewide races where there are no highly favored candidates and it also reveals that Pennsylvania is definitely in play for both the presidential and senatorial races which will determine control of the direction of this nation between two differing visions on energy independence, education, international trade, balancing the budget and support for small businesses.
As sweet as that would be, I don't really want them to. I want a clear mandate, but not anything that can be used by liberals as an "excuse" to de-legitimize a Romney Presidency.

The ad war has shaped the voters minds.
In PA, there was no ad war, only the debates shaped the voters and that could mean a Romney Victory in PA while losing OH.
That was Suffolk that pulled out of those states.
I do believe this is the 3rd time Susquehanna delivered this stat.
They were roundly criticized at least 4 weeks ago for this, and they convincingly defended their methodology; their defense, as I recall, can be summed up as “we’re not skewing to any model.”
Might be able to find it by searching ‘Susquehanna’ in FR titles - however, their primary PA pollster specifically wrote a defense of their PA methodology because of the flack they got from main stream critics.
This may be a new instance of their PA poll, but it is not much different from what they’ve been saying for a while now (4 - 5 weeks?), and when I read the defense they published weeks ago, that’s when I added PA to my electoral map.

. . . and a Romney Administration (which is what this article implies) MUST defang “the MSM.” That CAN be done legislatively, I assure you. The MSM depends on government, and can be tamed IF you dare to do it. The payoff would be HUGH.

Malkin's site goes on to clarify thusly :
Susquehanna has not tweeted any information about its latest poll yet, but its last poll (the one released two weeks ago) had a perfectly reasonable D+6 sample.
Turnout in Pennsylvania was D+7 in 2008, according to exit polls.

but one may reasonably assume that their methodology won't have changed.
With so much at stake, do you seriously think two big-name outfits (Malkin & GOP) would risk their credibility and a potential election-altering scandal with a bogus poll ?

Good point. Not only that, but the region of Minnesota that borders NW Wisconsin is Iron Range country — one of the most reliably Democratic parts of Minnesota. In this election, though, those Democrats — white, working class people who are holding on in the fading iron mining region — are the ones most likely to walk away from a surly black malcontent running for office.
Mitt will sweep PA and with it the Senate seat. We have a little place in Susquehanna County and there is one ONE King Bozo Ohmmeter sign in our little town...There are many Pubbie signs...
Definitely a new poll. I believe it gets realeased tomorrow in the tribune review. Its just being held up for full release in the sunday paper.
