I took Governor Christie’s rationing law yesterday as a sign that things were deteriorating instead of improving on the gasoline front; this confirms my suspicion.
Who is paying for these free $40 per pop fill-ups? I know; I am.

This seems awfully silly. NYC doesn't need mobile fuel stations. They simply need power to be restored to existing fuel stations, and new fuel supplies brought to stations that have run dry in recent days.
What am I missing here?

I want to see what happens when there’s a 20,000 people waiting for free gas and they run out. The 18,000 or so who don’t get free gas aren’t going to be happy after waiting for hours and getting screwed.
