But that’s what happened yesterday to Barack Obama in Virginia. Famous liar, womanizer, and accused rapist Bill Clinton kept the audience in their seats, but as Obama was speaking, many people had had enough; they got up and left so they could beat the parking lot traffic.

Daughter (3L at Washington and Lee, Lexington) called last night and says it is freezing in her apartment and she ordered an electric heater. She will be voting R&R tomorrow!! Her boyfriend (also a 3L at W & L) and I think at least several of her friends will also be voting republican.

I've thought about your question, and there could be a couple of very good answers:
1. A LOT of the rabble that support 0bama are "Bandwagon" morons; they support him because they think it's cool. Walking out shows them that it's OK to tell the commie to Go To Hell;
2. Maybe there were limited tickets available for the event and by getting a ticket it prevented some weak-minded moron from attending.
