After MONTHS of letting posters write horrid things about Mormons and bash Romney to no end, after SWEARING he would NEVER in a million years vote for a MORMON for the Presidency- is it any wonder that Jim Robinson, when realizing his "FREEPATHON BEGATHON" wasn't going quite so well following the exodus of members, changed his tune.
After weeks of being told he was aiding Obama, he FINALLY changed his tune.
And where did he choose to announce his "EPIPHANY"? In his FREEPATHON thread.
Robinson no more cares about principles or conservatism than Obama.
The MINUTE people jumped ship (MANY OF THEM BIG GIVERS), his opinion "EVOLVED"?
I have held on to my "MEMBERSHIP" just long enough to write this post and I am HAPPY it will be the last comment I make here.
But know this- THE MAN BEHIND THIS SITE IS A SCHILL!!! I would have had a LOT more respect for him had he held to his original belief, but he sold out because he's a WHORE and he needed money.

I didn’t vote for Romney, skipped that part, but he got the Texas electoral votes anyway. Each votes his/her conscience and that’s the end of that. I don’t look to JR to determine what I have to do.
I was anybody but Romney longer than Jim Robinson. In fact, I was ABR until the story about Doherty & Wood’s deaths hit the news about 2 weeks ago. At that point, I simply decided there was no way Romney would have performed a post-birth abortion on two American heroes fighting for life and country.
When JR changed to ABO, I understood. I still understand.
It is strange that you disrespect a man who has brought conservative interaction to the USA in a way that no one else has. Free Republic’s list of accomplishments is impressive, and this from a man who, despite some debilitating personal struggles, has had the courage to persevere against mainstream information, analysis, and commentary.
If I were Jim, I’d send this thread to the netherworld. It doesn’t deserve the light of day.

I notice you've neither been banned nor answered, so I'll give you the short version.
People are "bothered" by abortion because it is the taking of an innocent human life. That is, it is murder, which is the most heinous crime possible. If someone isn't bothered by that, then there is a fault in their thinking and theology.
So, then, why are you "against it"? And why aren't you bothered by it?
Since you obviously believe in the afterlife and this person has elicited such strong emotions in you, no doubt you'll be praying fervently to your Lord that he be interrupted in his journey there and redirected to a better destination, not by his merit but by His.
What are your feelings on infanticide? If different than your feelings on abortion, why does the location of the baby make such a difference to you as to whether you care about protecting its life?

Having said that, I sadly do believe that Romney's Mormonism cost him the election. The fact that a no-leadership-ability RINO like John McCain captured almost 3 million votes more four years ago than Romney did yesterday tells me that 3 million Republicans who went to the polls in 2008 decided to stay home this time and not vote because they didn't want to vote for a Mormon. I have seen plenty of sickening anti-Mormon bigotry on this forum over the years. And the purveyors of that bigotry can now pat themselves on the back because they succeeded in keeping a Mormon out of the White House. But I fail to see what any of this has to do with Jim Robinson.
