Christie: I campaigned harder than anyone for Romney
New York Post ^ | 6:22 PM, November 7, 2012 | By DAVID K. LI

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie -- Mitt Romney's surrogate-turned-President Obama fan -- bristled today at suggestions that his embrace of the Democratic incumbent cost Republicans the White House....

When asked what went wrong for Romney last night, Christie deadpanned: “He didn’t get enough votes.”

“I’m not a pundit, I’m an office holder,” Christie said.

Christy is a back stabber.

If he really cared about his state why did he take hours out of his schedule to do that photo-op nonsense?

The FEMA money was on its way anyway. You don’t need to do photo-ops to get the FEMA money.

Besides all of this, Christy didn’t give a very good speech. The speech was supposed to be high impact. It was a sleeper.

He’s probably getting ready to switch parties so he can give some more hugging to Bruce.

There is absolutely still a place in the Republican Party for Chris Christie - he can cry just as well as John Boehner.

How did Christie slobbering all over Obama help the people of his state that were (and still are) in desperate need? It didn’t. It only helped Obama get re-elected.

“FU Christie! You effed up and you can kiss the GOP nomination goodbye. You stabbed Romney and us in the back! I will NEVER vote for you! I hope you choke on a pork rind.”

I swear you thought the same when Romney stabbed Palin on the back back in 08 and you swore never to vote for Romney back then. What goes around comes around.

A switch to be a democrat is less likely than an independent.
You are right. That makes more sense.

He has the attitude that he is too good for either party.
Well at least we won’t be surprised when he switches.

Dear Governor Fatso:

Switch parties or we will destroy you in the primary next year.

Signed,

A lot of pissed-off Republicans.

Yeah, I figure he’s toast. But even if he switches he won’t be far enough to the left for his new ‘pals.’ He’s Arlen Specter in a fat suit.

Why did he end up being a shill for Obama?
That was bad politics!

Well he didn’t campaign for him at the RNC convention. He wasted the keynote speach meandering and blubbering about his mama. No message other than “My mama was a lovable toughie, therefore you should vote for Mitt,” or something like that.

The problem for Chris is that the only time in the campaign that we saw him was when he bored the nation at the convention, and then we saw him overwhelmed by Obama’s bear-hug (what an amazing acheivement! Obama got both of his arms around Governor Rotundness! Brings a tear to your eye!)

Maybe he gave some rousing support to Romney somewhere, but the fact is, very few people saw that.

Weren't those just rumors? AFAIK, Steve Schmidt, McCain's guy, was the leaker. He never worked for Romney. He hated Palin so much he felt compelled to stomp her even if it hurt McCain.
