That’s what I thought. It’s a fiscal bomb that can’t be defused. And it’s a short fuse. It’s already rotting the heart out of health care too and there isn’t much way to stop that either.

What the HELL is wrong with him telling the truth?!

Nothing. The problem is that Boehner is LYING.

The House comtrols the purse strings completely, and the House can defund Obamacare, or pieces of it, anytime it wants.

” I have no love for Boehner but he’s right.”

OK, I haven’t read all of the posts here, but Obamacase IS the law of the land.

We lost people.

We are now controlled by the socialists. Our health care is now in the hands of the Federal Government.

Assuming we won’t be able to replace it, anyone have suggestions on how to avoid the controls of Obamacare as individuals?

Can we buy private care or something?

Well, I do know a number of health care professionals, and every last one of them knows exactly what is coming as it relates to their field, and every one of them voted for Romney.

One particular gentleman, an occupational therapist, expects that all smaller, more rural hospitals will be forced to close due to cost.

Doctors may cease seeing medicare patients due to reimbursement problems and others may close their practices due to patient load.

“lowering my “economic footprint” and trying to starve the beast. “

OK, so maybe we can coordinate this effort to starve the beast.

Let’s stop buying stuff unless absolutely necessary.

No new cars, unneeded clothing, home remodels, pricy vacations, eating out or prepared foods.

Perhaps we should start living like the economic collapse that we know is coming has already occurred.

The cut back in commerce and individual spending should start immediately.

It will be a horror show. And he can’t BLAME BUSH!!! The costs, regulations, paperwork, rationing, shortage of healthcare professionals, death panels, hospital deaths, operating room confusion, overlapping and duplicative coverage, soaring deuctible costs-—on and on and on.

IT WILL BE A NIGHTMARE FOR OBAMA THAT THE PRESS CAN’T COVER UP.

“he can strike their budgetary amount just like that. Will he? Nope “

The only way to stop Obamacare it looks like to me is for the House to cut the funding.

But, Bohner is talking about bipartisan working with both sides of the house. That means he won’t take a hard line and stop the funding.

If there is a way, we must stop this terrible law.

Should we go to the streets? What can we do?

Just like a train barreling out of a tunnel... It's going to be very bad when it crashes.

You're right. I started reading it and crunching numbers, and once it was obvious that there was no way to sustain this, I quit. I have a great deal of respect for Paul Ryan - he kept going.

And it's not just health care. It'll kill research, it affects home sales, it's got it's fingers everywhere.

You are correct. They were voted in to stop this. They seem to have forgotten why they are in the position they are in. No he can’t repeal it but they can stop any funding from any part of it. This along with some of the Republican Govs. refusing to set up exchanges would bring the issue back out in the open where the people can see what is going on. They are trying to hide this until it’s implemented

Yes, this injection of toxins should kill the patient rather quickly. Unfortunately it will not be at all painless.

Someone needs to remind Boehner of the precedent set by the DEMOCRATS in 1973 (might be off a year,)

No doubt. But it’s going to be a nightmare for a number great number of citizens too, including my mom who did vote for Romney.

Sadly there is no way to avoid it now. We are going to have to go through it.

Cloward-Piven strategy it to death. Just pay the “penalty tax” and then go to the ER a dozen times a year for sniffles, coughs and checkups...
