Roger that. You GOT WHAT YOU VOTED FOR. As Coach Denny Green says: THEY ARE WHAT WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!! Enjoy socialism new York. You wanted life under socialism, this is what life under socialism is like.

Many years ago, when stationed in West Germany, I had a tour on the East-West border. I used to stand and look over into East Germany with my eyeglasses and see what life was all about. They were in rags. Dirt poor. Using tractors from the 1930s to plow their fields or using HORSES!!! They were in abject poverty. The West had it high on the hog. I knew what communism was and did to people. I hope those who wanted this crap are happy. We are going to become East Germany. Secret police, gulags, missing people in the middle of the night as the secret police drag them away screaming and people keeping quiet so they won't be next. Yup. Enjoy communism folks. THIS is what it is like. The biggies have theirs and everyone else has nothing. Its coming. Full speed ahead.

I remember an article about Cuba... the writer saw a farmer plowing a field with an ox... the plow was tied to its horns... didn’t even have a yoke

Yours is a post to be remembered. Communism is so heinous, I even remember the date Stalin died. We just reelected a president with known communist ties. We had many Freepers who believe they are more virtuous than those of us who voted for Romney because they refused to vote for him.

I'll do anything to hold back communism as long as I can.

I was there as well, before the wall came down. Going through Checkpoint Charlie was like stepping onto a different planet. Grim, dreary, miserable place. Why do people never learn from history?

For a more visual effect watch “The lives of others”
Its a German film about life in East Germany under the Stasi. It's chilling.

[We are going to become East Germany...]

Yes, sadly it’s true, and it will have to escalate quickly for them to succeed.

Cast your eyes on the UN when we, along with all ‘free nations’ will be relegated to a minor members status with the voting powers of the weakest of the weak.

Our military is not OUR military any more, it’s THEIRS and they have disseminated it to the weakest point in recent memory.

It’s sad that the former strongest military on earth will be unable to or ordered to STAND DOWN.

A military that have rushed in to save OTHER countries from tyranny is being handcuffed and suppressed from doing the same for our own Republic

Perhaps that is better phrased...our former Republic. I pray not but at this point nothing short of a revolution backed by patriotic generals to restore our Republic will save us.
