There was a squirrel in my neighborhood who used to come onto my patio, I gave him a cookie every morning, he took it right out of my hand, if I missed a morning, he would come to the big window in my living room and actually press his nose to the glass. If I ignored him, he’d make squirrel noises until I came out and gave him a cookie.
I haven’t seen that squirrel in a long time, I probably gave him squirrel diabetes.
Your tale reminds me of the story of how to rid yourself of a tapeworm with a box of sugar cookies and a wooden mallet.
Is he knocking on your neighbor's window every day now for his little squirrel insulin pill?
Nothing is required of them. Sometime some of them will pick up litter or pull weeds or something but for the most part about the only thing they've transitioned from is a government dependent to a church dependent.
Ah, well. If they want to pay me to do stuff these lazy slobs should be able to do, I'm not going to complain.
Much.
Sometimes I do spout off and think to myself, "Why do I care? They obviously don't."
Does that make me a bad guy?
