For 2016, Bush vs. Clinton
CNN ^ | 11-27 | LZ Granderson

(CNN) -- For all of our post-2012 election talk about the changing culture, the changing demographics and, perhaps, a changing party, preliminary thoughts out of D.C. about the 2016 election have us headed toward not much change at all: Clinton vs Bush...again.

I am as intrigued by the prospects of these two juggernauts, Jeb and Hillary, locking ideological horns as I am repulsed by the thought of half of my life being dominated by two family names. One, Clinton, has risen from the ashes after the White House. The other name, Bush, is so toxic that the past two Republican nominees avoided saying it in public, opting instead to skip their combined 12 years in office and head straight back to Reagan.

Face it, Hillary has baggage but Jeb has Bush, and that, more so than his record as governor of Florida or ideas for the future, will determine, at least at the beginning, how he is received. That explains why more than a few conservatives were not thrilled to hear that he was thinking of running.

Underestimate the beast at our peril. She is favored among people who don’t want to see her do this but who have better arguments for than yours against.

But that aside, and let’s put it aside as it is most unpleasant, to use one of their arguments (that they lament making), who, among these horrible wimpy excuses for defenders of the Constitution, do the Republicans have to run against her?

There is no strong candidate, personality, character nor politician among them. Every one of them has been groveling to be forgiven for being a racist who hates Mexicans.

that’s going to beat any one they sed up? After what we just saw?

The media paints the GOP Of being only of white men. This is why the media smeared Palin ,West, Cain ,Bachmann so savagely. The media know that Palin, Nikki haley, Cain,West etc anyone of them running will break the media LIE that says that GOP is only of and for white men. The media can't have this so they tried to smear any Republican woman or minority.Running a white male again will play right into the media hands and is no way to win. EVERY single Republican presidential candidate has been a white male and any of you don't see the problem and how we are playing into the evil media's hands ( and an old white male , usually a rich old white male and no one sees the problem here hello mcfly???

Governor Nikki Haley is a woman and a minority. I wish she would run

Running anyone who cares what they think will sink it. A white man who is comfortable in his non racial nature/character can do it. He has to be above it,same as any woman or person of color. They slammed Thomas, Powell, when he worked for Bush I, Condi Rice, and look what they’ve done to West.
No they are racist and simply are good at projecting. The dopes who take the bait are done.
