Reuters reports:
At least 27 people, including children, were killed on Friday when at least one shooter opened fire at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, CBS News reported, citing unnamed officials.
The shooter, the father of a student there, was also killed, CBS News reported. The principal and school psychologist were among the dead, CNN said.
There were unconfirmed reports of a second shooter after witnesses reported hearing dozens of shots fired.
Sandy Hook Elementary School teaches children from kindergarten through fourth grade - roughly ages 5 to 10.

Another saying I have come up with is this:

Look around you. Government officials are the biggest lawbreakers of the bunch and nothing happens to them, especially if their a demoncrat. LEO's can assault or kill someone, and unless it's on video they will skate. Look at George Zimmerman's case. He is being crucified for no better reason then he defended himself from someone bent on taking his life.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the country you knew and loved no longer exists. Prepare for the new reality...just use your imagination.
My wife and I are both retired teachers and strongly advocate the idea of arming someone inside public schools to try and prevent this kind of tragedy.Schools are advertised killing zones because a perp knows that no one will be able to stop them.
I’m wondering if the “second shooter” was exactly that—someone armed who took out the nut. And I’m suspected that the “dad” was a skitz—crazy.
Its just another symptom of our sick society. We didn’t start out this crazy; its been a long descent and this is where we’ve arrived. The answer is right in front of our eyes and worked for thousands of years. We have become a lost nation, ‘tho not to despair. Most of us have read the script; we know how the story ends. It’s our job to save as many as we can whether they like us or not. I know it’s hard to do sometimes...those fricken frackin smart mouthed know it all kids...lol
Why the delay in releasing his name and other pertinent data.
Unfortunately there are unstable people in all walks of life, some of whom have reached the point where nothing will help them.
As every Democrat knows someone who is planning on mayhem and murder will not carry a gun into a zone where guns are prohibited. Poor kids were sitting ducks.

Of course they would never think of arming the school staff so they could protect the students in these situations or possibly deter such things from happening.
They’re too busy scrubbing his Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Here’s a novel idea. ALL teachers and school staff are required to take a firearms safety and proficiency course taught by law enforcement. Then they are issued a standard pistol and ammo or they can get their own side arm and approved ammo. Now ever six months all teachers and staff are required to go to the range for proficiency training. Here’s the good part, all teachers and stall are required to OPEN carry while in a paid status at the school.
When a country turns it’s back on God, everyone loses.
