So the truth is that Bloomberg and Feinstein are the ones who cannot be trusted with a loaded gun. Yeah. We kinda figured that. There are fortunately millions of Americans who can fully be trusted with loaded guns. So why project the personality faults of politicians and drug addled lunatics onto the rest of the population ? All the politicians need to do is to provide adequate security. The kind of security 2 trillion dollars a year can afford.

I can’t shake the feeling BS/BO’s friends had something to do with the massacre to try and take away firearms.

Also, Bloomberg was too quick out of the starting gate blaming guns before he knew anything concrete.

Virginia Tech: Murder suspect had come very close to being committed to an asylum

The fact is in most if not all of these cases someone drops the ball. At VA Tech it was the parents who sent their kid to college untreated knowing he had serious problems. In essence, they dumped him. In Aurura the professor treating the psycho ignored his threats. After the shooting the the school sealed those records to protect her.

There are parents in the current case, but not a peep about the father. The mother screwed up in a couple of ways that we know already, although there may be more information forthcoming. The main problem, along with the useless or worse meds, is that the govt lets everyone off the hook with special laws that "protect privacy" and other such nonsense.

I could even have a smidgen of respect for Feinstein and Bloomberg if they actually thought that gun control would work. The fact that they opened their yaps about it right away proves that they didn’t even think before opening their yaps. They behave like children.

From an atheist/humanist point of view,

why is the murder of a bunch of 6 yr old pieces of cosmic dust
by a 20 yr old piece of cosmic dust,
being called “evil” (what’s that mean?) by a bunch of other pieces of cosmic dust?

It is time to open the mental hospitals which were closed in the 1970s.
