Pelosi trying to make the Republicans look as though Sandy Hook didn’t matter to them, as well if they succeed in getting the R’s to capitulate it’s a win-win for the Democrats. Just another dirty trick as it’s the Democrats that are jumping for joy at this “crisis”, this opportunity to force legislation that benefits their goals of disarming Americans, and eliminating the Second Amendment.

the legislation in such matters is already drafted, it may need to be fine tuned this or that month but it sits in a drawer waited to be played.

I think it’s time for the formation of a new party. The Republican Party, as it is constituted at present, is just not a useful instrument for promoting the values and interests of much of the American public. Perhaps such a party could absorb much of the existing Republican Party, if Republicans saw fit to join. But I see as a reality the fact that a lot of Americans with various interests are unhappy with the direction in which the country is going. But the supposedly pragmatic Republicans are diluting the message to the point where they are not longer representing those people.
I don’t think violence is the way to go. Apart from the morality of it, I also think that it won’t work.
Didn’t we have these very same laws the Democrats are proposing at the time of the Columbine shootings? I don’t recall anyone shooting up schools when I was in elementary or high school. We have worse problems in this society than the existence of guns, but people take the easy way out and think they are doing something constructive by advocating gun control.
I would be the first to think that any legislation that is good enough for us should also apply to all law enforcement including feds, state, and local.
Obviously the military should be exempt but there is no logical reason to think that law enforcement is somehow more worthy of the ability for self defense than the people of this nation.
Im talking about agriculture, poultry, and farming! ;)
