HOUSE REPUBLICANS CIRCULATE PLAN TO OUST BOEHNER FROM SPEAKERSHIP
Big Government ^ | 21 Dec 2012 | by Matthew Boyle

Posted on 12/22/2012 5:53:25 AM PST by SMGFan

Several conservative House Republican members are contemplating a plan to unseat Speaker John Boehner from his position on January 3, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. Staffers have compiled a detailed action plan that, if executed, could make this a reality.

The Republicans, both conservatives and more establishment members alike, are emboldened after the failure of Boehner’s fiscal cliff “Plan B” on Thursday evening. Dissatisfaction with Boehner is growing in the House Republican conference, but until now there hasn’t been a clear path forward.

Those members and staffers requested anonymity from Breitbart News at this time to prevent retaliation from Boehner similar to what happened to those four members who were purged from their powerful committee assignments a few weeks ago. Their expressed concern is that if Boehner knew who they were, his adverse reaction toward them would be much more brutal than losing committee assignments, such as a primary challenge in 2014 by a leadership-sponsored candidate.

"And if some Democrats abstain instead of voting for Pelosi—think McIntyre and Matheson—then the insurgent Republican would need to peel off even more votes to prevent Boehner from winning."

Who is to say that handful of Blue Dogs (as you well note of which there are left -- a handful) vote to retain Boehner just to flip the bird to Pelosi and the Tea Party? Hoyer couldn't stop them and it's not like they rake in the DCCC bucks...

First off, the old guard rino liberals like Boehner have abdicated their constitutional and moral principles and are liberal lite at this point and therefore are untrustworty. These sequestered hearings should have been conducted in Congress with all representives there so that the various states represented could have their individual votes.
Second, the whole federal establishment are now unconstitutional representives as their track records have proven. There are some 600 people in DC of the 3 branches of federal government who are destroying the whole country, which are made up of a majority of red states and who now represent blue states policies and the of nazi left wing facism. We day by day as our country is gang raped by leftists liberals and their rino cohorts. I agree with our early forefathers motto, no taxation without representation. Our country is dying and conservatism is being destroyed by facists; we are like the people at the alamo and must bravely stand as we die together. There is hope if the red states secceed or if a 3rd party is created to spite the evil dems and rinos in DC.
Thirdly, we must pray together to the one and only living creator God of Israel who is over all for His mercy toward us in Jesus Holy Name.

Bachmann would be Obama’s worst nightmare.

Absolutely! I'm one of her contributors even though I live in Colorado. The offspring of communist Frank Marshall Davis would have her high-pitched voice ringing in is hears for the next 2 years! It would drive him mad. She is a ROCK Solid Constitutionalist. She is constantly spouting the Constitution everywhere she goes. She was the only candidate that did that during the campaign, although Santorum is right up there with her. He would definitely be another candidate for Speaker since House membership is not required.

The Neo european states North and east of New York, including the small area of Connecticut known as The City should be purged from the union. Neo Europe is quite simply no longer America

Dissolution is the only solution to the socialist problem foisted by the fraud and decay of the urban detritus

I don’t think that any Blue Dog (and you’re right, there are only like a handfull of real ones left) actually would vote for Boehner: in the past few decades, the only Representative to vote for the opposing party’s Speaker candidate was Jim Traficant voting for Hastert in 2001, and Traficant became the first Representative in decades not to be given membership in *any* committee. If a Blue Dog wanted to screw over both Pelosi and the Tea Party (which, along with Obama, are the three largest causes for their ranks dwindling so much), they would be more likely to abstain or not show up that day (which might result in Boehner’s reelection) rather than voting for Boehner, since they can claim plausible deniability for the former while the latter is tantamount to political suicide. (If they voted for Boehner, they pretty much have to switch to the GOP, and the only current Blue Dogs who might have a chance of winning a GOP primary in their respective districts are Mike McIntyre of NC-07 and Collin Peterson of MN-07 (and both would have to vote quite a bit more conservative to have a chance in 2014).

All you wrote is correct. It’s why the Democrats insured Boehner was re-elected to the House.

Speaking of “garden variety,” I believe it was the late Everett Dirken who coined that term in reference to himself. He meant it with self-praise. As accommodating as Dirksen could be, he towers above the people from IL now.

Boehner’s emotionalism is a sign that its more about him and his personal legacy than it is about him being an effective leader. True leadership is not about feelings; its about execution and accomplishments.

"Bring back Newt! "

That has been my tagline for a good while. I would also prefer Paul Ryan, Louie Gohmmert, Trey Gowdy, Ted Poe, Darrell Issa or even my own Michael McCaul. There are many other more deserving and more competent representatives than the crybaby. I think I'm even going to change my tagline to include at least some of those.

As much as a fan as I am of Newt, we should go with a fresh face. The idiots that voted for at least 4 more years of this crap might be willing to listen to someone they have never seen before. Newt, as brilliant as he is and a smuch as a fan of his as I am, would lock everything up with their hatred of him. Not to say that I wouldn't see this tyrannical government, dictated by the obscenely arrogant illegitimate adolescent offspring of Frank Marshall Davis come to a complete standstill, we must have a new hard hitting conservative in to move our positions along, and stare down Frank Marshall Davis's obscenely arrogant illegitimate adolescent offspring.

Why do I say "at least 4 more years"? Frank Marshall Davis's obscenely arrogant illegitimate adolescent offspring is not leaving in 4 years. Yes, I know all about the 22nd Amendment. Nothing else in the Constitution has hindered Frank Marshall Davis's obscenely arrogant illegitimate adolescent offspring. Why would the 22nd Amendment?

Pelosi could become speaker if Boner and his rino buddies vote for her out of spite. And don’t put it past them.

Nothing will surprise me anymore. And nothing will take away my happiness.

I am totally and categorically opposed to Newt Gingrich for any future elected office beyond dog catcher.

He is morally irresponsible at least and an active adulterer at best. Sorry, it matters to me.

Also remember the Contract with America. Recall that of the 10 legislative points proffered by the plan, only eight were made into law. The main two, which I propose were the absolute most critical and would have harbored us safe from the continuing circus we call Congress, were the Balanced Budget Amendment and Term Limits. Here we are 18 years later still enduring same tired voices of the same old Progressivism, DemocRat and Republican. Newt? He has not kept faith with conservatives ( balanced budget, smaller government) so we as conservatives owe him nothing.

Term limits would have absorbed most of the current Washington elitists by now and a Balanced Budget Amendment would have been prohibitive of off budget wars (thank you George Bush for absolutely destroying the balanced budget conservative Republicans finally passed, you flaming Progressive), TARP, the Union payoff a.k.a the Stimulus, the auto bailout (another union coffer to DNC money scam) and four years of baseline budgeting via continuing resolutions. Not one DemocRat has had to vote for a single deficit in four years. That is a crime John Boehner (a protege' of Newt) should be held accountable for.

I just read on another website that Rep. Pete Sessions of TX, son of the former FBI director, said the GOP has caved (no surprise to anyone) and Obama is the winner again with such weak leadership by the GOP.
