You know in your heart it will be. Both are putting out the feelers. Jeb has the obvious GOP backing and Christie is a hero despite what he did to Romney.

BECAUSE of what he did. It made the position of fall guy easier to do.

We start getting our crap together now or never. And it still may be far too late. The GOP is lost. People need to accept it and get over it. It’s just reality.

He did not give the election to Obama, conservatives did. The democrat voter supports who ever they put out there, they may not all agree but they support him. The conservatives don’t follow this thinking, so we lose.

“We” lose because half the people claiming to be conservative would rather win thn support what they claim to believe in. That opens the door to the RINO wing and by the time a sufficiently repulsive candidate emerges, it’s over.

If people stood for something instead of whatever “winning’ gets them, there would be hope of gathering enough of us to actually ‘win’ something worthwhile.

Tell me with a straight face that Romney was a conservative. Tell me Bhoner is.What did their version of win at all costs win us?

NOTHING.

Christie Creme certainly helped throw the election. The number of people who cited “he cares” as a top reason for voting for Obama was staggering. Christie helped Obama look like he “cares,” and trashed Romney.

He's on a roll!

That would be a hard roll - with pork roll, egg and cheese!

Look how many if these stalwart conservatives trashed Palin.

They are a conservative as romney. They repeat the liberal talking points about Palin and don't have a clue how they expose themselves. They attack the best of the best and encourage others to vote for the worst of the worst. I consider them parrot freepers - carrying the liberal message here.

I had one of these stalwart ‘conservatives’ tell me the other night that we don’t have a spending problem, that old people were a big part of the problem. He wasn’t going to sacrifice the future of HIS children so old people could get new hip joints.

Then he called me an FDR Socialist for pointing out that ‘old people’ spent their lives paying into the system for those hip joints.

He has been defending the GOP and Bhoner’s actions for quite a while not on FR.

We need a purge. Period.

If they think she will ‘win’ they will actively vote for her.

Anything but a conservative. Anything to win.

You nailed it. Conservatives need to sacrifice egos and selfishness and get behind JUST ONE CANDIDATE. Only reason Mitt won nomination was because Ricky & Newt fought each other.
