Russia is enduring its harshest winter in over 70 years, with temperatures plunging as low as -50 degrees Celsius. Dozens of people have already died, and almost 150 have been hospitalized. The country has not witnessed such a long cold spell since 1938, meteorologists said, with temperatures 10 to 15 degrees lower than the seasonal norm all over Russia. Across the country, 45 people have died due to the cold, and 266 have been taken to hospitals. In total, 542 people were injured due to the freezing temperatures, RIA Novosti reported. The Moscow region saw temperatures of -17 to -18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, and the record cold temperatures are expected to linger for at least three more days. Thermometers in Siberia touched -50 degrees Celsius, which is also abnormal for December.

19 degrees when I got up this morning and 30 degrees now. Pretty standard for this time of year.

We are now naming snowstorms. Pretty soon rainstorms and windstorms will have names so gov’t dependents will be eligible for handouts.

Either the Russian weather service is lying or USA libtards are lying. I tend to believe Russians over libtards

This is the first time I've ever heard the Russians complain about cold weather. I spent a couple years near Fairbanks, Ak and it got down to -67F below zero both winters. There's some kind of media BS going on here.

It’s just grist for the global warming/climate change mill. Because global warming causes extremely cold winters...

Eastern Europe has been in a record setting cold spell.

I found out about this not from our global warming mediots but from the weather channel showing a video of young man throwing hot water out of a window and what happened to the hot water going down about 10 floors.

The links below showes another big lie of the Gorebal warmers being exposed by a cold reality in Eastern Europe.

Algore, Boomberg and "Cake Boss" Christie need to visit Russia.

I wonder how much we'd have to pay Putin to keep 'em in Siberia permanently?

Von Paulus’ Sixth Army (what was left of it, anyway) at Stalingrad. Talk about a clusterf***...

Doubt many of those captured Landsers ever made it home.

We live where the Yukon comes in from Canada. Last couple days it has been minus 58 F every morning at daybreak, then this morn it warmed up over night to minus 30 and feels quite nice going outside to bring in wood.

Nov was pretty cool, I don't think it went up above minus 40 the entire month.

The kids are home from school life is good no matter how cold she gets.

Talked with our friend in Belarus yesterday, -20C there. She had just come back from the village communal shower with a towel over her wet hair. When it gets that cold she says many homeless who are also drunk die outside.
