WhiteHouse.gov Petition: Establish gun-free zone around pResident (9,624 signatures so far)

40% of the way to 25,000.

If gun-free zones are good enough for our children, they should be good enough for our feral government overlords.

These stupid petitions are just a distraction. An opium for the masses.

OK genius; got a better suggestion to vent frustrations and cope with the inability effectively to neutralize the freight train to totalitarianism?

We are told what to eat, what not to eat, can't smoke any more unless you are a union member and make 330k a year, drinking is out for a plethora of reasons; few can afford recreational driving, now; soon we won't even be able to drink milk!

Sometimes, the opiate of the masses is all that's left.

Of course they are less than useless for driving policy, but the petition concept can be useful for mockery, as was done with Attackwatch.

If the fascists go for registration and confiscation, all politicians that support gun control and government bureaucrats and operatives are going to require a regiment to protect them wherever they go.

DiFi's AWB is a distraction as well, but you swallowed it hook, line and sinker. It's DOA.

Ubama doesn't need a law to do whatever he wants. When the time comes, he'll issue an EO.

“vent frustrations and cope with the inability”

Well. That’s pathetic.

“feral”

I’m going to be laughing at that one for a long time and every subsequent time that I think about it.

I keep wondering if DiFi is getting a kickback from the gun and ammo manufacturers.

After all, she’s driven demand. . . and prices. . .through the roof. . .

Give us your better plan.

A better plan? Than what, wasting time and resources? Sure, I can think of a 1000 things to do with my time. A petition to an uncaring, selfish government isn’t a plan; it’s a pipe dream. Figure out something that will actually do something. Nagging Congress to abolish gun-free zones is perhaps a better approach than a feel-good, slightly humorous petition to the White House.

If we loved our Presidents as much as we love our own children we would make the White House a ‘gun free’ zone. Just like we’ve done with our schools and colleges.

The White House should have the same total lack of security our schools have... And IF that scares you, then we need to make sticker gun control laws around the White House. Crazy people follow the law, right? Isn’t that what those ‘oh so compassionate’ liberals tell us - and they wouldn’t lie - right? So no more paranoid ‘security and gun wearing men’ - just MORE laws to stop the nuts.

If it’s good enough for our children, it’s good enough for our Presidents and congress people... We care that much...

Sign away, Einstein. One of these days we “dumbass non-venters” will look around and ask, “where did all those cool whiteyhut petition signers go?”.

I don’t disagree with making the areas around Obama and even his kids school gun free, but these endless petitions are silly.

Other than we promote conservative candidates and prepare to defend ourselves if needed, I don’t have one. Filling out Obama survey forms isn’t exactly my idea of productive.
