So it begins in DE. I have emailed all my legislators, none have given me much to feel good about.

I notice that 5 round magazines for rifles, 10 for handguns and ban of the so called AW. 1000 feet of a school zone, gun show loop hole.

None of which will stop any crime.

Fools!

They need to expand freedom ... Adopt no-permit "Constitutional" concealed carry, and allow peaceable citizens to go about their honest business armed.

They need to encourage teachers and others charged with the care of children to arm themselves for self defence of themselves and the children in their care.

If it saves even one life, it's worth it!

The underlying elephant of this turd is that some means has to be in force in order to determine ‘when’ and for ‘what’ this private sale has taken place.

If you can’t determine when or what for already executed sales prior to his ‘law’, how can they dispute a new sale? In my state, you don’t have to do crap....there’s no minimum information bill of sale requirement.

In truth, this is just a back door foothold for confiscation. To implement this, they will have to register every gun, period. Once they force you to register, confiscation is right around the corner after the next tragic excuse. If you don’t fight these people on this, you’ll fight them in the streets one day, that is IF you still have a weapon.

And this will accomplish precisely ‘what’?!

Or is this more of the same political grandstanding and empty promises that had Jack(off) Markell wasting $20M of State money on Fisker (that has yet to build a car in Delaware)?

Or promising $10M of State money to build pathways, but failing to actually allocate funds (thus relying mainly on Federal funds and a far smaller project list)?

If I were a liberal Democrat in Delaware, I’d be flipping everyone the bird too.

Delaware: A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use. Art. I, § 20 (enacted 1987).

[Self-defense right explicitly protected.]

The governor has violated his oath of office.

Since this is being rushed through as a response to Sandy Hook, I'm sure they'll explain to the citizens of their state EXACTLY how these laws would have prevented the Sandy Hook killings, right?

I mean, if they wouldn't have stopped Lanza, then this would just be naked political opportunism, wouldn't it?

And what do private sales have to do with the shootings in Newtown? Not a damn thing.

You know what I call these left-wing gun-grabbing idiots like Jackass Markell who are gleefully dancing on the graves of innocents people killed in “gun-free” zones?

Sandy Hookers.

Attorney General Beau Biden said the proposed ban on assault-type weapons likely will generate the most intense debate in the legislature, but that he believes it is consistent with the Second Amendment right to bear arms.

No, there's no coordination between father and son, here.

Looks like a clear violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241:

18 U.S.C. § 241 : US Code - Section 241: Conspiracy against rights

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured - They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

An illegal law is not a law. You can dress up a pig in a dress, but that doesn’t make it a beautiful woman.
