Either libs still don’t get it or are being deliberately misleading: the second amendment securing our rights to weapons is not about personal “self-defense” (or hunting), but about defending ourselves against a tyrannical government (which it seems we have!).
You are spot on as they think the old musket balls were for militia drills. They have no concept that the early settlers came here to escape governmemts that had taken their guns and then made them subservient to the rulers(GOV). They liberal media thinks that a Thanksgiving dinner came from the farmer who raised Turkeys. They have no idea that musket balls were the means to put meat on the table or even that Turkey. This militia BS and sport hunting is all liberal propaganda as our founding fathers already knew we needed the right to bear arms to protect ourselves from governments who went too far.
You just said it’s not about self-defense yet is about defending ourselves, which makes no sense. It is about self-defense, purely and simply, whether that be against muggers, foreign invaders, domestic insurrectionaries, or tyrannical government.
