The entire Waco site was bull dozed by the ATF two weeks after the end of the siege. LITERALLY a cover-up.

The siege at Waco was over a $200 tax; media and the government injected religion and child molestation into it to bury the reason they went after the family.

The constitution is the supreme law of the land so by not turning those over they’re being law-abiding.

The initial contact at Waco was because ATF claimed the Davidians had semiautomatic rifles that had been converted to automatic by a “kit”.
These were semi-auto rifles that “looked like” the M-16 or AR-15 platform. In other words, just like what libs want to “ban” now, and are calling them “assault” weapons (not rifles, mind you, because if they did they would be dead wrong,since they are already specially licensed).
The “search warrant” serving was first by ATF, who blew it, bigtime.
Correction, the search warrant was issued because one agent thought the Davidians “could have” converted the rifles to full auto.
The search warrant was justified not on the basis there was proof that the Davidians had purchased anything illegal, but on the basis that they could be modifying legal arms to illegal arms, and that automatic weapon fire had been reported heard from the compound. When confronted by the sheriff about this, he said he was shown a “hellfire” system, and a letter from ATF saying this was legal and NOT a machine gun device.
Taking a stand like Waco? The majority of those murdered at Waco by the US Govt were women and children.

Heh. We hear “automatic weapons fire” frequently in our neck of the woods. It’s called “bump firing”, basically using the recoil to fire the next shot. Fun for plinking, but a big ammo waster. Need to hold on the ammo we’ve got.

I hope you are right. But all it takes is one useful idiot who wants to get promoted in the system, or pressure from above with threats of taking away their pensions for instance, to start the confiscation process. We can't ignore so many examples in our lifetime.
